Provided is a method of producing an ultrafine bubble-containing liquid containing ultrafine bubbles generated by causing film boiling in a liquid with a heat generation member, including: detaching a solid present at a liquid contact surface of the heat generation member in a form of a microscopic substance by using the film boiling; and generating ultrafine bubbles with the detached microscopic substance as a core.
Inflatable boat desalination system based on inflatable non-imaging solar concertrator
A portable floating sea water desalination system is presented to realize ultra-high efficiency and extremely low cost water purification. The disclosed system comprises an inflatable non-imaging solar concentrator based compact desalinator subsystem, a photovoltaic powered distillation subsystem, and an inflatable rubber boat system. The inflatable non-imaging solar concentrator concentrates both beam light and diffuse light into an envelope type evaporator to evaporate the brine water to realize extremely low cost. A nano materials absorber is incorporated into the evaporator to realize ultra-high efficiency. A portion of the heated brine water contained in the evaporator is circulated to the photovoltaic powered distillation subsystem for further evaporation. Both of the subsystems above are mounted on the inflatable rubber boat subsystem for portability.
Method and System for Batch Multi-Effect Distillation
Methods and systems for conducting batch multi-effect distillation are disclosed. A multi-effect distillation system and one or more isolation devices are provided. A feed stream, consisting of water and a solute, is passed from a feed source into a brine side of the plurality of heat exchangers. The feed source is isolated from the plurality of heat exchangers by closing the one or more isolation devices. A first of the plurality of heat exchangers is heated by the heat source. A steam stream and a brine concentrate stream are produced in all but a last of the plurality of heat exchangers. A condensate stream from the steam stream is produced in all but the first of the plurality of heat exchangers. A warmed feed stream is produced in the last of the plurality of heat exchangers.
Electric water desalination assembly
An electric water desalination assembly for desalinating water without burning fossil fuels includes an evaporator and a renewable electrical power generation system. The renewable electrical power generation system is electrically coupled to the evaporator for providing power to the evaporator. The evaporator is fluidly coupled to a source of salt water for boiling the salt water into desalinated steam. Additionally, the evaporator is fluidly coupled to the water desalination system for processing the desalinated steam into freshwater. Additionally, the water desalinating system is fluidly coupled to a freshwater distribution system. In this way the freshwater distribution system receives freshwater from the water desalination system.

An electric water desalination assembly for desalinating water without burning fossil fuels includes an evaporator and a renewable electrical power generation system. Additionally, the water desalinating system is fluidly coupled to a freshwater distribution system. In this way the freshwater distribution system receives freshwater from the water desalination system.
ULTRAFINE BUBBLE GENERATING APPARATUS AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
The abstract of the disclosure is a thermal-ultrafine bubble generation unit which is configured to generate thermal-ultrafine bubbles by bringing a liquid into film boiling. More specifically, the thermal-ultrafine bubble generation unit in the disclosure includes a temperature detection element that is configured to detect generation of the film boiling.
Liquid purification with film heating
A purification system can provide for efficient heating of liquid via film heating, which, rather than heating a large volume of liquid, can heat a thin layer of liquid thus reducing the amount of energy required to evaporate the liquid. Film heating can enable evaporation of liquids using less energy than other methods. In addition, when liquids (e.g., seawater) having dissolved solids (e.g., salts) are heated, both the liquid and the solids must be heated. As evaporation occurs, the concentration of solids increases and more energy must be supplied to the liquid in order to cause evaporation. Because purification system can heat only a layer of liquid, less energy is required to heat the solids, which can allow for higher energy efficiencies in purifying liquids. System and method for using a flash evaporator to separate bitumen and hydrocarbon condensate
A system and method for separating bitumen and condensate extracted from separating bitumen from oil sands material is disclosed. The method includes passing the mixture of bitumen and condensate through a flash evaporator to separate them. In the flash evaporator the mixture is heated at high pressure after which it is sprayed into a tank where the pressure is much lower, allowing the condensate to vaporize and the bitumen to settle to the bottom of the tank. The vapors are then passed through a condenser unit, causing them to cool and liquefy.

There is provided a film-forming material mixed-gas forming device including: a film-forming material supply unit that supplies a film-forming material in liquid form at a predetermined flow rate; a carrier gas supply unit that supplies a carrier gas at a predetermined flow rate; a main vaporization unit that vaporizes the film-forming material by heating the film-forming material supplied from the film-forming material supply unit and the carrier gas supplied from the carrier gas supply unit; and an auxiliary vaporization unit having a porous vaporization member which captures carried over droplets of the film-forming material in gas flowing out from the main vaporization unit and vaporizes the captured droplets of the film-forming material.
