A fluid vapor distillation apparatus. The apparatus includes a source fluid input, and an evaporator condenser apparatus. The evaporator condenser apparatus includes a substantially cylindrical housing and a plurality of tubes in the housing. The source fluid input is fluidly connected to the evaporator condenser and the evaporator condenser transforms source fluid into steam and transforms compressed steam into product fluid. Also included in the fluid vapor distillation apparatus is a heat exchanger fluidly connected to the source fluid input and a product fluid output. The heat exchanger includes an outer tube and at least one inner tube. Also included in the fluid vapor distillation apparatus is a regenerative blower fluidly connected to the evaporator condenser. The regenerative blower compresses steam, and the compressed steam flows to the evaporative condenser where compressed steam is transformed into product fluid. The fluid vapor distillation apparatus also includes a control system.
Cannabis production systems and methods
A vertically-integrated cannabis-related product production method is described, the method comprises, producing a distilled cannabinoid and/or a crystallized cannabinoid from cannabis plants, comprising: in a farming system, growing the cannabis plants, the cannabis plants comprise a cannabinoid; in an extraction system, extracting the cannabinoid from the cannabis plants; in a purification system, purifying the cannabinoid to produce a purified cannabinoid; and in a distillation and/or a crystallization system, distilling and/or crystallizing the purified cannabinoid to produce the distilled cannabinoid and/or the crystallized cannabinoid. Various ways to purify, distill, and process the cannabinoids are described. An insect pest management system may be integrated with the farming system to grow the cannabis plants in the presence of predatory mites which feed on insects and/or spider mites.
A HYBRID PROCESS AND SYSTEM FOR RECOVERING WATER
A hybrid process and system for separating water from an inlet brine solution is disclosed. The hybrid process couples at least two different separation processes/systems. The inlet brine solution is fed into a first separation process, which produces a water distillate and a brine concentrate. The brine concentrate from the first separation process is then fed into the second separation process to further recover additional water. The excess heat from the second separation process is supplied to the first separation process.
Extracting Water From A Gas Mixture With An Absorption Unit In Combination With A Thermal Water Extraction System
Various embodiments include a method for isolating water from a moist gas mixture comprising: absorbing water in an absorption medium disposed in an absorption unit; separating the water from the loaded absorption medium in a thermal water isolation plant; and regenerating the absorption medium in the thermal water isolation plant with temperatures of less than 100 C. prevailing in the thermal water isolation plant.
HEAT TRANSFER TUBE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A HEAT TRANSFER TUBE
The invention relates to a heat transfer tube (9) for falling film evaporation having a heating medium surface (21) to be heated by a heating medium, a falling film surface (20) to have spent liquor passing over it, and being made from an iron based high alloy stainless steel material with an alloy content above 16.00% for Chromium and above 1% for Nickel. The falling film surface of the heat transfer tube is equipped with at least one weld ridge (WR; WR.sub.1, WR.sub.2), said weld ridge having a height (h; h.sub.2) in the range 0.3 to 5.0 mm, a width (w; w.sub.2) in the range 0.5-15 mm, and an inclination angle (; .sub.1, .sub.2) versus a plane orthogonal to a longitudinal axis (CC) of the heat transfer tube in a range of 0-70 degrees so that each weld ridge is inclined and extends helically along at least a portion of the heat transfer tube or extend within a plane orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the heat transfer tube and forms well ridge portions on the falling film surface such that the distance along the longitudinal axis of the heat transfer tube between adjacent weld ridge portions is within the range of 0 to 250 mm. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing said heat transfer tube.
METHOD FOR THE SEPARATION OF VOLATILE COMPOUNDS FROM VISCOUS PRODUCTS BY MEANS OF A THIN-FILM EVAPORATOR, AND POLYLACTIDE RESIN
A method for removing compounds in the gaseous aggregate state from PLA-containing products in the viscous aggregate state by means of a thin-film evaporator. The compounds may be present in the liquid or solid aggregate state in the products under standard conditions. The invention further relates to a polylactide resin prepared in accordance with the method of the invention.
DISTILLATION APPARATUS WITH CARTRIDGE AND USE THEREOF FOR DISTILLING WATER
A distillation apparatus includes at least one evaporation space in which feed water is evaporated into a vapour and at least one condensation space, in which vapour from a preceding evaporation space is condensed into distillate. The evaporation space and the condensation space each include a chamber and a plurality of interdigitated pockets arranged between said chambers, such that a first pocket of the evaporation space is present between a first and a second pocket of the condensation space, and that the first pocket of the condensation space is present between the first and a second pocket of the evaporation space. The spaces are mutually separated by means of a separation barrier that is configured for transmission of heat and for definition of the interdigitated pockets.
Combined evaporator and mixer
A Combined evaporator and mixer for evaporating a liquid, particularly water, and mixing with a gas, particularly natural gas, including a housing and at least one individual mixing-evaporation module having exhaust gas openings at two of its ends.
Stacked type falling film evaporator, zero liquid discharge system comprising the same, and zero liquid discharging method using the same
A stacked type falling film evaporator includes a first evaporator, a second evaporator, a first vapor recovering device, a second vapor recovering device and a vapor recompressor. The first evaporator and the second evaporator respectively have evaporation tubes of a length of 5 m to 10 m, and are stacked in such a manner that wastewater passes through the first evaporator and the second evaporator in order. The first vapor recovering device collects vapor generated from the wastewater in the first evaporator and supplies the collected vapor to the second evaporator. The second vapor recovering device collects vapor generated from the wastewater in the second evaporator and supplies the collected vapor to the first evaporator. The vapor recompressor compresses the vapor collected in the second vapor recovering device before the vapor is supplied to the first evaporator.
