Spray drying system

A spray drying system for drying wastewater to be dried includes: an exhaust as introduction line for introducing the exhaust gas discharged from an exhaust gas generation source, the exhaust gas introduction line being connected to a plurality of exhaust gas ducts for allowing the exhaust gas to flow through; and at least one spray drying device connected to the exhaust gas introduction line and configured to bring the exhaust gas introduced from the exhaust gas introduction line into contact with the wastewater. The number of spray drying device is smaller than the number of the plurality of exhaust gas ducts.

TANDEM EVAPORATION-DRYING METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR MAKING POWDERED MILK-DERIVED PRODUCTS

Methods of making a powdered milk product are described. The methods may include providing an aqueous milk-sourced mixture, and evaporating water from the aqueous milk-sourced mixture to produce an evaporated milk-sourced mixture having a total solids concentration of 35 wt. % or more. The evaporated milk-sourced mixture may be dried to form the powdered milk product, which may have less than 6 wt. % water. Systems for making the milk powdered product are also described. The systems may include an evaporator to evaporate water from a supply of a milk-sourced mixture to form an evaporated milk-sourced mixture. They may also include a dryer to dry the evaporated milk-sourced mixture and atomize it into the powdered milk product.

Spray Drier Assembly For Automated Spray Drying

A spray drier system is provided for spray drying a liquid sample such as blood plasma. The spray drier system may include a spray drier device adapted to couple with a spray drier assembly. The assembly may include an enclosure mounted to a frame. The assembly may receive a flow of drying gas which is directed by the enclosure shape towards a spray drying head mounted within the enclosure to the frame. Flows of a liquid sample may be further received by the head, which aerosolizes the liquid sample. Aerosolized liquid sample and drying air may be mixed within a drying chamber of the enclosure to produce dried sample and humid air. The dried sample and humid air may also be separated in a collection chamber of the enclosure, with the humid air exhausted from the enclosure.
