Reversible contraceptive implant system and method
A contraceptive or occlusion system for restricting and later opening up a reproductive tract or lumen of the vas deferens. The system is adapted to be reversible after implantation, including implantation on, around or within the vas deferens. A method and system to reconnect a severed body lumen, such as the vas deferens, is also provided.
APPARATUS FOR SEXUAL ACTIVITY USAGE
An apparatus for sexual activity usage between a first user, the wearer, having a body orifice, such as but not exclusive to a vagina, an anus or a mouth, and a second user having a body-extending member, such as but not exclusive to a penis, a tongue or a finger, the apparatus comprising: a garment assembly being configured to be worn by the first user, the wearer, relative to the body orifice of the first user, the wearer; and a fluid-impenetrable receiver being configured to: form, at least in part, an entryway being configured to receive, at least in part, the body-extending member of the second user; be affixed to the garment assembly at a fixed position and fixed orientation relative to the body-extending member; and be spaced apart from and be positioned and remain entirely outside of the body orifice of the first user once the first user wears the garment assembly in such a way that transfer of a sexually-transmittable fluid between the first user and the second user and physical contact with any orifice is reduced. This action will mimic conventional sexual intercourse without the penetration of a body-extending member into a body orifice.

Method of obtaining male contraception
There is provided a method for controlling a flow of fluid in the vas deferens in order to obtain a controlled male contraception. The method comprises gently constricting (i.e., without substantially hampering the blood circulation in the tissue wall) at least one portion of the tissue wall to influence the flow vas deferens, and stimulating the constricted wall portion to cause contraction of the wall portion to further influence the flow in the vas deferens. The method can be used for restricting or stopping the flow in the vas deferens, or for actively moving the fluid in the vas deferens, with a low risk of injuring the organ.
System for delivery of medication in treatment of disorders of the pelvis
A system for delivery of medication in treatment of disorders of the pelvis is disclosed. The system includes a medicament applied to an implantable device and an insertion tool. The implantable device has a first end opposite from a second end, with the first end of the implantable device insertable into tissue within the pelvis. A retrieval string is coupled to the second end of the implantable device. The insertion tool includes a shaft extending between a proximal end and a distal end, with a handle coupled to the proximal end of the insertion tool and the distal end of the insertion tool is adapted to couple with the implantable device. The handle includes a notch adapted to releasably secure the retrieval string.
CONTRACEPTIVE DEVICE AND METHOD
A contraceptive device for a penis having an elongate body with a closed end, an inflation end, and at least one deformable wall therebetween. An interior within the elongate body is configured to hold an air pressure. An air valve extends from an exterior of the elongate body to the interior. The use of the contraceptive device comprises: inserting the elongate body into a urethra of the penis by the closed end; inserting a nozzle of a pump into the air valve; pumping air through the air valve thereby increasing the air pressure within the interior of the elongate body thereby deforming the deformable walls and forming one or more seals; and removing the nozzle from the air valve thereby sealing the interior of the elongate body.

Contraceptive devices
Described are methods for reversible occlusion of a body lumen by way of degradation as a result of exposure to one or more stimuli such as light. The methods include administering one or more substance(s) into a body lumen of a subject and forming a stimuli-responsive polymer mass in the body lumen from the one or more substance(s). The mass is sufficient to occlude the body lumen in a manner that prevents transport of at least one material through the body lumen and is susceptible to on-command reversal in the body lumen upon exposure to one or more stimuli. The methods include administering one or more stimuli to a polymer mass in a body lumen for a time and intensity to cause the reverse the polymer mass. The methods are particular useful for applications in which it is desirable to temporarily occlude a body lumen, such as male and female contraception.
