Convertible laboratory condenser
The present invention is a laboratory condenser adapted to be interchangeable from functioning as a reflux condenser to functioning as a distillation condenser as by inversion, and related methods of reflux and distillation that may be carried out by its use.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DEHYDRATION AND DECARBOXYLATION OF CANNABIS
In a system for perorming a multi-step process for selectively purifying various pharmacologically-relevant components of a source plant such as cannabis, an initial step of the process provides a low-temperature, robust process for dehydrating and decarboxylating the starting product—fresh raw cannabis—by means of a vacuum-assisted microwave distillation process. An important by-product of the dehydration/decarboxylation is a terpene-rich distillate. By doing the terpene capture under vacuum, distillation temperature may be kept low. The low distillation temperature maximizes yields of thermally-sensitive components such as terpenes and cannabinoids.
HEAT EXCHANGER
Described are a high pressure carbamate condenser, urea plant, and urea production process. The high pressure carbamate condenser as described is of the shell-and-tube heat exchanger type with a tube bundle and has a redistribution chamber connected to tubes of the tube bundle and to a duct. The duct extends between the redistribution chamber and the shell.
SkyPipes for Renewable Water and Power Production
An apparatus for condensing water and producing electricity. In one embodiment, the apparatus may comprise a plurality of fabricated tubes, wherein the tubes may be filled with and enclose hydrogen, helium, or combinations thereof, and wherein the tubes may be bonded together lengthwise in a circular assembly to provide a cylindrical structure comprising a central bore. Further, the apparatus may comprise and a ground structure, wherein a lower portion of the cylindrical structure may be tethered to the ground structure.
Condensing system
A condensing system is used to generate a condensing layer on a surface of a test object. The condensing system includes airflow generating device and a passage device. The airflow generating device is used to generate condensing airflow. The condensing airflow has a dew point higher than a temperature of the surface of the test object. The passage device is connected to the airflow generating device, and the condensing airflow flows from the airflow generating device into the passage device. The passage device includes a flow-uniforming module. The flow-uniforming module includes at least one uniforming board. Each of the at least one uniforming board has at least a first hole.
CONDENSATION DEVICE COMPRISING A STIRRER IN A CHAMBER FOR COLLECTING THE CONDENSATE
The present invention corresponds to a condensation device which in turn comprises said condensation device. The condensation device includes a first container (10), a heat exchanger (20) housed inside the first container, a condensing chamber (30) below the heat exchanger and a stirrer (40) housed inside the first container In an embodiment of the invention, the condensation device also comprises a second container, where both containers have a double wall. Moreover, the containers may include flanges for the inlet and outlet of substances into the containers and the heat exchanger, and for monitoring the substances inside the device.
Desalination device
Disclosed are a desalination device and processes of desalination using the device. The device is directly ocean-situated and fully nature-powered with on intake, no brine production, and no electricity consumption. The device contains a heating unit, configured to receive a dry air stream and heat the dry air stream with one or more renewable energy sources to produce a heated air stream; a humidifier, configured to receive the heated air stream, evaporate at least portion of water present in the humidifier and humidify the heated air stream to produce a wet air stream, a cooling unit, configured to receive the wet stream and cool the wet air stream resulting in condensation of at least a portion of the moisture to produce fresh water and a dehumidified air stream; and a fresh water collection tank, configured to collect at least a portion of the fresh water.
Air cooled condensing heat exchanger system with acid condensate neutralizer
An air-cooled condensing heat exchanger system (“ACHX”) installed in a fossil power plant flue gas treatment system recovers water and low temperature waste heat from boiler flue gas for advanced coal fired power plant applications. More particularly, the ACHX system recovers water from combustion flue gas by phase change. To recover water from flue gas, the ACHX system uses ambient air from an air intake installed on the stack to cool down the flue gas in the ACHX.
Apparatus for desubliming or condensing a condensable fluid in a closed space
The invention relates to an apparatus for desubliming, condensing or evaporating a fluid. The apparatus includes a chamber and at least one tubular member for desubliming, condensing or evaporating the fluid on the outer surface of the at least one tubular member. The chamber is provided with at least one inlet for the fluid and at least one outlet for the condensate and/or evaporate, and at least one supply and at least one discharge for a cooling and/or heating fluid. The tubular member includes an outer member and an inner member enclosed within the outer member. The inner member is in communication with the supply at a first end. The outer member is in communication with the discharge at a first end. The outer member is closed at a second end. The inner member is open and mouths into the outer member at a second end.
