In a second step the volume is reduced by cooling using a second heat transfer fluid loop at a second temperature, and it he pressure is increased to a second intermediate pressure. In a third step the volume is reduced by cooling using a third heat transfer fluid loop at a third temperature, and the pressure is increased to atmospheric pressure.

PYROLYSIS BIO-OIL FRACTIONAL CONDENSATION DEVICE AND METHOD CAPABLE OF COOLING MEDIUM SELF-CIRCULATION
20230256356 · 2023-08-17 ·

The present disclosure relates to a pyrolysis bio-oil fractional condensation device and method capable of cooling medium self-circulation. The device includes a primary condensation system, a secondary condensation system and a cooling medium self-regulation heat exchange system. The primary condensation system uses the temperature-regulated cooling medium to condense the macromolecular tar by direct heat exchange with the pyrolysis volatiles. The condensed tar is heated, pushed and scraped with a rotary mechanism to prevent adhesion. The spray liquid in the secondary condensation system exchange heat with the uncondensed volatiles directly for secondary condensation. The cooling medium self-regulation heat exchange system realizes self-circulation and self-balance of the cooling medium mass flow and energy flow by integrating heat absorption during biomass raw material feeding and drying, heat release during volatiles condensation, and heat absorption during pyrolysis char cooling, and realized the independent operation of the condensation device in the mobile biomass pyrolysis system.

A method of producing useful fuel fluids from solid plastic waste, including loading solid plastic waste matter into a reaction chamber to define a load, subjecting the load to HTP to extract hydrocarbon mixtures, filtering the hydrocarbon mixtures to extract solid matter, and separating the hydrocarbon mixtures into a light fraction (C.sub.1 to C.sub.25) and a heavy fraction (C.sub.26 to C.sub.31). The heavy fraction is directed to a first container and the light fraction is directed to a second container. The light fraction is separated into diesel (C.sub.8-C.sub.25), gasoline (C.sub.4-C.sub.12), and vapor (C.sub.1-C.sub.5), and the diesel is directed to a third container, the gasoline is directed to a fourth container, and the vapor is directed to a fifth container. The hydrocarbon mixtures have a carbon number distribution between C.sub.1 and C.sub.31. The pressure in the reaction chamber is typically between 0.1 and 10 MPa and the temperature in the reaction chamber is between 350 and 500 degrees Celsius. The plastic waste is selected from the group consisting of PS, PE, PP, and mixtures thereof.

System, method and apparatuses for reduced-emission micro oil refinery

A system and process for refining crude oil to produce higher-purity, cleaner-burning designer fuels with reduced emissions. The crude oil may be treated with viscosity-reductant additives, which reduces viscosity by up to 50% and increases API gravity by more than 2 points. The method of spray-cracking and vacuum-flashing of crude oil separates light end chains and heavy end chains inside the reactor. The vapor is condensed into designer fuels like bunker, diesel, jet/kerosene fuel, naphtha and gasoline fuel using multi-stage horizontal reverse condensate-condenser. The GVF centrifuges are configured to separate targeted fuels of desired density value as per their ideal fuel densities, which carry out centrifugal polishing to generate targeted fuel products of desired density and hydrocarbon molecules of desired purity values. These designer fuels are further treated with desulfurization additive.
