METHOD AND DEVICE FOR OBTAINING WATER FROM AMBIENT AIR
20200346164 · 2020-11-05 ·

A method for obtaining water from ambient air, wherein the method contains at least the following method steps: contacting the ambient air with at least one liquid absorbent for absorbing at least a part of the water contained in the ambient air; conveying an absorbent diluted by the absorbed water to a first heat exchanger; transferring the diluted absorbent into at least one desorption device. Therein, water desorbed in the desorption device is conveyed to the first heat exchanger, wherein cooling of the desorbed water is effected by means of the diluted absorbent by means of the first heat exchanger. Furthermore, disclosed is a device for obtaining water from ambient air.

EXTRACTION OF BOTANICAL MATERIAL USING HIGH PRESSURE HYRDOCARBONS
20200346136 · 2020-11-05 · ·

An apparatus and method for extraction of oils from botanical material using high-pressure hydrocarbons such as propane, or butane, or mixtures thereof are described. A high-pressure propane or butane saturated liquid/vapor mixture formed by pressure reduction through a valve placed before an extraction column, thereby serving as an expansion port was employed. The apparatus is capable of both continuous liquid extraction or batch-style liquid operation through the use of a manifold valve, which directs the solvent liquid/vapor in the system to either a supply tank or an extraction column.

Recovery of ethylene oxide from sterilization process

Method, System, and Apparatus for the Electro Conductive Extraction of Water Molecules from the Air
20200240123 · 2020-07-30 ·

An apparatus, system, and method for the extraction of water molecules from the air includes a combination of electrical mechanisms and materials engineering. With the help of hydrophobic and hydrophilic materials on an array of thermally conductive and electrically insulated materials, the extraction of water from the air is significantly increased. A combination of hydrophobic and hydrophilic materials and an electric field gradient moves the water molecules towards the collection system thus speeding up the water formation process. This also inhibits the re evaporation of the water droplets.
