DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ENDOVASCULAR TEMPERATURE CONTROL
Devices, systems and methods for controlling a patient's body temperature by endovascular heat exchange.
Aesthetic method of biological structure treatment by magnetic field
Combined methods for treating a patient using time-varying magnetic field are described. The treatment methods combine various approaches for aesthetic treatment. The methods are focused on enhancing a visual appearance of the patient.
Thermal contrast therapy device
Methods and apparatus for an improved contrast therapy device that delivers alternating heated and chilled temperature fluids to a contrast thermal therapy pad. Mitigation processes maintain water temperature in hot water tanks and cold water tanks in order to keep water temperatures in the respective tanks from drifting beyond a desired setpoint range when the system switches a therapy state from a cooling cycle to a heating cycle or from heating cycle to a cooling cycle. Thermal shock is reduced to the fluid tanks. Mitigation techniques include delaying actuation of a return path flow, such as via a diverting solenoid. Mitigating delay can be a static time delay based upon one or both of: a volume of water in a therapy pad and related volume and rate of flow; and meeting a threshold transition temperature for return fluid temperature.
System and Method for Vaginal Remodeling
A system and method for vaginal remodeling and treating gynecological disorders. A vaginal remodeling system comprising a flexible, inflatable, vaginal balloon capable of transferring heat and mechanical stress in a controlled manner to restore vaginal function. The proposed method to reactivate the cells in the vaginal tissue using thermal energy and mechanical energy using balloon dilatation and/or pulsing to promote the rejuvenation of the vaginal tissue will be accomplished by the system described in this disclosure.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TREATING NEUROLOGICAL DISORDERS
Caloric stimulation and pressure stimulation can be applied to the ear for treatment of neurological disorders, such as migraine, pain, and headache. Heat can be applied first to increase the sensitivity of the mechanoreceptors in the ear. The pressure can be applied after heating to produce a stronger neurological response than would occur without the heating. In some cases, cooling can be used. Valves can be used to direct fluid flow to a right ear, a left ear, or both. Valves can be used to transition the system between an irrigation or caloric mode and a pressure mode. Green eyewear can be used for therapeutic relief.
SUPPORTING DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING A BODY PART OF A USER
Support device (1) for supporting at least one body part of a user at least in portions, optionally completely, comprising a support body (2), which comprises at least one support region (3) for supporting at least one body part of a user at least in portions, optionally completely, wherein at least the support region (3) has, at least in portions, optionally completely, a geometric-structural design that is individually configured on the basis of the data describing at least one body part of a user that is to be supported on the support region (3) at least in portions, optionally completely.
ORGAN SUPPORT AND TEMPERATURE CONTROL DEVICE
The present disclosure provides an organ supporting device and a manufacturing system thereof. The organ supporting device includes a tube with a one or more bends to create two supporting regions for an organ. The supporting regions are connected via a connecting region. The tube is supplied with temperature control material, such as a cooling fluid, by a circulation component. The temperature of the organ and fluid are sensed by one or more sensors and the sensed temperatures are provided to a temperature control unit to increase or decrease the temperature of the temperature control material to maintain a temperature of an organ for in-vivo or ex-vivo surgical procedures.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REGULATING A TEMPERATURE OF AN ARTICLE OF FURNITURE
The present disclosure provides a system for regulating a temperature of a portion of an article of furniture, and methods of use thereof. The system may comprise at least one sensor configured to detect a biological signal of a user of the article of furniture. The system may comprise a temperature control device configured to change the temperature of the portion of the article of furniture. The system may comprise a processor configured to (i) designate, while the user is asleep on the article of furniture, a time for the article of furniture to wake up the user based on the biological signal of the user that is detected by the at least one sensor while the user is using the article of furniture, and (ii) change the temperature of the portion of the article of furniture by the temperature control device prior to the time.
ALTERING TEMPERATURE IN A MAMMALIAN BODY
The present application relates to systems and methods for altering temperature in a mammalian body. Optionally, the systems and methods can be used to lower or raise core body temperature of a mammalian subject. Optionally, the systems and methods can be used to lower or raise the temperature of glabrous skin of a mammalian subject.
