Extraction method
A method for extraction of desirable compounds from cannabis provides for high-cannabinoid full spectrum (HCFSE) extractions, using CO.sub.2 at low temperature to extract the compounds in an extraction vessel. The CO.sub.2 with extracted compounds is transferred to a heated vessel which converts the CO.sub.2 to a gas, allowing the desired compounds to drop out and be removed.
SUPERFLUID EXTRACTION APPARATUS
A cyclone separator for a superfluid extraction apparatus comprising a cyclone inlet weldment comprising a cyclone, a collector tube connected to the cyclone inlet weldment, and a needle support manifold extending from the cyclone inlet weldment comprising a fluid flow directing needle, the needle having a relief cut to control fluid flow into the separator. A supercritical fluid pump is described having a piston assembly with a hydraulic cylinder and a cylindrical integral check valve piston with at least two circumferential seals to seal the piston against the barrel insert and a check assembly extending axially through one end of the integral check valve piston and between the at least two circumferential seals to relieve excess pressure.
Method of extracting polyhydroxylated fatty alcohols using supercritical CO.SUB.2
A method of extracting Polyhydroxylated Fatty Alcohols is disclosed. The method may include: inserting crushed avocado seeds to one or more extraction chambers; flowing supercritical CO.sub.2 fluid through the crushed avocado seeds in one or more extraction chambers; and separating from the supercritical CO.sub.2 flown through the crushed avocado seeds the Polyhydroxylated Fatty Alcohols extracted and dissolved in the supercritical CO.sub.2. The supercritical CO.sub.2 fluid may be the only solvent used for dissolving and extracting the Polyhydroxylated Fatty Alcohols.
Extraction devices, systems, and methods
Extraction devices, methods, and systems are disclosed. Example devices have a solvent chamber, a plant material chamber, a collection chamber, and a solvent return that create a sealed, closed-cycle extraction and/or solvent purification process. Any extractable plant material can be used in the disclosed devices, methods, and systems although in some examples some form of the cannabis plant is used.

Apparatus for extracting oil from oil-bearing plants
A system for extracting oil from oil-bearing plant parts has an extraction vessel supported by an upright stand, a separator vessel mounted below the extraction vessel, and an expansion filter vessel mounted downstream from the separator vessel. A source of hydrocarbon solvent supplies liquid gas to the top of the extraction vessel, while a recycling pump connected to the separator vessel facilitates transport of the solvent through the plant material in the extraction vessel. The solvent is recovered and re-circulated, while extracted oil is removed from the separator. A computer-based temperature control assembly having a cooling device and a jacketed injection coil regulates temperature of the solvent delivered to the extraction assembly. A thermal jacket is mounted on each of the separator vessel and the expansion filter vessel, with the thermal jackets supplying heat and cold to the interior of the separator vessel and the expansion filter vessel and helping evaporate and condense the solvent.

Leaching Vessel System and Method
A leaching vessel system and method for extracting oils from plant material is provided. The leaching vessel distribution and emptying system of the present invention is configured to avoid and prevent many of the inherent problems with conventional leaching methods, including channeling, excess compaction of feed, plugging, and the like. The leaching vessel can include modular nested sections having a main stem and one or more spaced screens or like structures adapted for housing within a vessel main body.
Process supported by equipment group for extracting compounds from botanicals
An apparatus and process for extracting organic molecular compounds from plant material and concentrating those into a viscous oil, the process supported by a machine architecture that heats, cools, and stirs a cooking mixture of plant material and a consumable solvent oil, the viscous oil suitable for use in sublingual tinctures, food products, and topical salves.
WELL PLATE WITH HOLLOW ELECTRODES FOR BIOSPECIMEN SAMPLE PREPARATION
Preparation of biospecimens for analysis is discussed. One example is a system that includes a sample well having an open top and configured to contain the biospecimen and a volume of an extraction solvent. The system also includes a bottom electrode. At least a portion of the bottom electrode is arranged in a bottom portion of the sample well opposite the open top. The system additionally includes a top electrode having an opening configured to allow material to pass through the top electrode into or out of the sample well. At least a portion of the top electrode is configured to be contained within a top portion of the sample well adjacent to the open top. The bottom electrode and the top electrode are configured to apply a voltage across the biospecimen and the volume of the extraction solvent to generate a supernatant.
