Active fraction from therapeutic cannabis plant extracts
11597712 · 2023-03-07 · ·

An improved process for producing various types of cannabis extract from harvested cannabis wherein a quantity of harvested cannabis, which typically includes the inflorescence, floral leaves, and small stems of a flowering cannabis plants, is frozen and subjected to cryogenic grinding to produce pulverized cannabis. The pulverized cannabis is then subjected to alcohol extraction to produce an initial cannabis extract which is filtered to yield a remainder fraction and a filtrate. The remainder fraction potentiates the activity of cannabis formulations while the filtrate can be subjected to one of several forms of further processing according to the desired chemical profile of the final product.

Method of extracting one or more chemical extracts from a plant product

A method of extracting one or more chemical extracts from a plant product includes mixing at least a first phytochemical-bearing part of a phytochemical plant product with an oil-bearing plant product, producing an oil mixture from the first phytochemical-bearing part and the oil-bearing plant product using a press device, and extracting at least a chemical extract from the oil mixture.

Process of Rare Earth Recovery from Ores Containing Bastnaesite
20230124458 · 2023-04-20 ·

The present invention relates to the recovery of metals from raw ores or concentrates, and more specifically, to the recovery of rare earth elements, or oxides or salts thereof, from ores containing bastnaesite carbonatite, and/or monazite. The ore is processed by a method that may include one or more of the following steps: (i) mechanically processing the ore; (ii) calcination and/or roasting of the ore to form a calcinated material and/or roasting of the ore to form a roasted material; (iii) leaching of the calcinated material or roasted material in an aqueous solution; (iv) solid/liquid separation to remove a solid residue from the aqueous solution to recover a rare earth element solution; and (v) precipitation of the rare earth element solution to isolate a rare earth element, or oxide or salt thereof.

EXTRACTION METHOD OF PROANTHOCYANIDIN FROM CHINESE BAYBERRY (MYRICA RUBRA SIEB. ET ZUCC) LEAVES
20220324827 · 2022-10-13 ·

An extraction method of proanthocyanidins from Myrica rubra Sieb. Et Zucc leaves is provided. In the method, proanthocyanidins from Myrica rubra Sieb. Et Zucc leaf are obtained by preparing an aqueous Myrica rubra Sieb. Et Zucc leaf suspension and centrifuging. In the method, only water is used as an extraction reagent without introduction of an organic extraction solvent, which reduces costs and is free from environmental pollution; moreover, the method does not cause organic reagent residue in a product, such that the biological activity of the proanthocyanidins is not affected and product safety is improved without affecting product quality; meanwhile, extraction steps are simplified, extraction time is reduced and extraction efficiency is improved. The method provides stability, good reproducibility, simple equipment and easy control of conditions.

HUMUS TREATMENT PROCESS WITH ACTIVE NEUROLOGICAL SUBSTANCES
20220323879 · 2022-10-13 ·

According to aspect of the present invention there is provided humus treatment process with active neurological substances, that is, the waste treatment process in the pharmaceutical industry. That uses raw materials from plants. The process involves treatment of fossil plants, Canabis sative, Mittragyna speciose, Datura metel and Magic mushrooms in order to allow residues in the plant to interact with the system. Nerves are depleted or less than the set value and allowing the production waste to be used in the processing of the fibers and agriculture industry.

METHODS FOR ISOLATION AND PURIFICATION OF CANNABIDIOL (CBD) AND TERPENES FROM HEMP

The invention provides a plurality of methods which may be employed as a single method or a plurality of sequential method steps in the isolation and purification of Cannabidiol from Hemp plants. It also provides methods for having a terpene-rich fraction as a byproduct of the method. Depending upon the ultimate objective, the individual method components may be used separately or combined with one or more method steps to accomplish the objectives.

Systems and methods for extraction of biomass materials

Some variations provide a system for extracting a product from biomass, comprising: a process chamber having an internal volume; one or more mechanical elements configured to controllably and reversibly mechanically seal the process chamber and reduce the internal volume to mechanically compress the biomass; a fluid port in flow communication with the process chamber; and a collection sub-system in flow communication with the fluid port. Other variations provide a method of extracting a product from biomass, the method comprising: introducing biomass into a process chamber; mechanically sealing the process chamber; mechanically compressing the biomass to release a first fluid material; mechanically decompressing the biomass; introducing an extraction solvent into the process chamber; maintaining process-chamber pressure from about 1 bar to about 1000 bar, wherein the extraction solvent extracts a second fluid material; and recovering the second fluid material from the process chamber. High processing throughput is enabled with this invention.

Reducing surface and bulk contamination in plastic

The present invention generally relates to a method of reducing contamination from plastics. The resulting purer plastic can be used in demanding applications.
