A 7H-azulene [1,2,3-i,j] isoquinolin-7-one compound, a single crystal and a use thereof are provided. The compound has a structure as shown in a formula (I). The present invention obtains a crude extract of Acorus calamus L., then extracts with different polar solvents in sequence and separates column chromatography to obtain a novel alkaloid compound, which is expected to be developed into a novel class of drug exerting neuroprotective effects, so as to prevent and treat senile dementia, stroke and epilepsy diseases. ##STR00001##
Production of aromatics by reverse water gas shift, fermentation and aromatization
Device and process for converting a feedstock of aromatic compounds, in which the feedstock is notably treated using a fractionation train (4-7), a xylenes separating unit (10) and an isomerization unit (11), and in which a pyrolysis unit (13) treats a second hydrocarbon-based feedstock, produces a pyrolysis effluent feeding the feedstock, and produces a pyrolysis gas comprising CO, CO2 and H2; an RWGS reverse water gas shift reaction section (51) treats the pyrolysis gas and produces an RWGS gas enriched in CO and in water; a fermentation reaction section (52) treats the RWGS gas enriched in CO and in water and produces ethanol; and an aromatization reaction section (14) converts the ethanol into a mixture of aromatic and paraffinic compounds feeding the feedstock.
Method for evaluating removal of nitrogen-containing organic matter in wastewater
The disclosure provides a method for evaluation of removal of nitrogen-containing organic matter from the wastewater. The method includes: 1) pretreating a wastewater sample from a wastewater treatment plant; enriching nitrogen-containing organic matter in the wastewater sample with a solid-phase extraction cartridge; separating the nitrogen-containing organic matter from a substrate and disruptors of the wastewater sample, and collecting the nitrogen-containing organic matter; 2) detecting and analyzing the nitrogen-containing organic matter collected in 1) with a Fourier-transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometer, thereby obtaining mass spectra of the nitrogen-containing organic matter; 3) preprocessing peak data of the mass spectra of the nitrogen-containing organic matter in each wastewater sample; setting the nitrogen-containing organic matter corresponding to the peak data as a global variable; arranging wastewater samples into cross-sectional data according to wastewater treatment processes; creating an assessment matrix for evaluating removal of the nitrogen-containing organic matter.
Continuous production of active pharmaceutical ingredients
The present invention is directed to a method of producing active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). The method includes subjecting a reaction mixture with an API precursor to solvent extraction to produce a reactant stream with the API precursor. The method includes concentrating the API precursor in the reactant stream using at least one membrane. The method includes carrying out a reaction in a membrane reactor. The method includes separating the API precursor from the reaction stream using a separator. The method includes crystallizing the API precursor using a crystallizer to produce APIs.
Method and system for producing substantially mono-disperse particles of a substance
Provided herein is a first fluid dispersed in a second fluid to form an emulsion of micro-droplets having an average droplet size and having a droplet size distribution around the average droplet size and below a maximum droplet size. The micro-droplets will lose their solvent to transform to micro-spheres exhibiting a particle size distribution around an average particle size and substantially below a maximum allowable particle size. The micro-spheres are subjected to a micro-filter having a relatively narrow pore size distribution around an average pore size, which average pore size is between the average particle size and the maximum particle size. A filtrate of the micro-filter comprises a majority of the micro-spheres that is substantially void of micro-spheres having a particle size exceeding the maximum allowable particle size.
Aqueous extraction of propionitrile from chloropicrin
A method of extracting propionitrile from liquid chloropicrin includes providing a feed solution that constitutes liquid chloropicrin and a propionitrile solute dissolved therein. A liquid, water-based solvent that is immiscible with the feed solution is also provided. The feed solution and the solvent are intermixed such that the solvent absorbs and extracts at least a portion of the propionitrile solute from the feed solution. The feed solution is then separated from the solvent and extracted propionitrile solute to produce a liquid extract and a liquid raffinate, which liquid extract includes the water-based solvent and the propionitrile solute absorbed by the solvent, and which raffinate includes the feed solution from which propionitrile solute has-been extracted.
DESULFURIZATION TECHNIQUES
A desulfurization system has an oxidation process unit, and a multi-stage, liquid-liquid extraction unit in series with the oxidation process unit. The multi-stage, liquid-liquid extraction unit spits a fuel input from the oxidation process unit into a desulfurized fuel that is output for use, and a by-product. A solvent/sulfur/hydrocarbon separation process unit receives the by-product from the multi-stage, liquid-liquid extraction unit.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING MIXED METAL SALT
A method for producing mixed metal salts containing manganese ions and at least one of cobalt ions and nickel ions, the method including: an Al removal step of subjecting an acidic solution containing at least manganese ions and aluminum ions, and at least one of cobalt ions and nickel ions, to removal of the aluminum ions by extracting the aluminum ions into a solvent, the acidic solution being obtained by subjecting battery powder of lithium ion batteries to a leaching step; and a precipitation step of neutralizing an extracted residual liquid obtained in the Al removal step under conditions where a pH is less than 10.0, to precipitate mixed metal salts comprising a metal salt of manganese and a metal salt of at least one of cobalt and nickel.
EFFICIENT DEPOLYMERIZATION METHOD OF POLYMERS COMPRISING ESTER FUNCTIONAL GROUP, AND PURIFICATION METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to a depolymerization method of a polymer comprising an ester functional group with or without pigments or dyes, a composition for the depolymerization, and a purification method for selectively separating foreign substances from a monomer of the polymer, and is characterized in that a compound represented by formula 1 is added as an additive.
