Oil-water separation apparatus and drainage system
An oil-water separation apparatus is provided which can easily separate and collect oil from a liquid mixture containing water and oil at low cost. The oil-water separation apparatus includes an oil-water-separating member configured to separate a liquid mixture containing water and oil into moisture and oil, and a liquid reservoir subdivided into an upper region and a lower region by the oil-water-separating member. The oil-water separation apparatus filters the liquid mixture by gravity. The oil-water-separating member includes a base which includes a channel for the liquid mixture. The oil-water-separating member is formed in the base, and the oil-water-separating member contains a fluorine compound which has an oil-repellency-imparting group and a hydrophilicity-imparting group. A drain port for discharging the moisture is formed in the lower region of the liquid reservoir.
Contaminant recovery device
A contaminant recovery device comprising a container sized to hold a body of contaminated liquid. A skimming arrangement adaptable to at least temporarily remove contaminants from the body of contaminated liquid and an assembly for inducing a flow in at least part of the body of contaminated liquid at or about the skimming arrangement. The skimming arrangement is adaptable to at least temporarily remove contaminants from around the surface of the body of contaminated liquid.
Filter system, closure element, and filter element
A filter system (200) includes a housing (210) in which a replaceable filter element (100) is arranged between a pre-filtration side (202) and a post-filtration side (204). The filter element (100) has an element-fixed central tube (150), wherein a closure element (10) is provided on a housing side, the closure element (10) opening a post-filtration-side fluid outlet (250) when the filter element (100) has been inserted, and blocking the post-filtration-side fluid outlet (250) when the filter element (100) has been removed. The filter element (100) has an actuating element (160) for the closure element (10).
Fat processing system
Methods and devices for treating lipoaspirate for use in fat grafting procedures are provided and generally include a canister for containing lipoaspirate, a separation mechanism structured to separate both oils and other materials from cellular components of lipoaspirate contained in the canister. The separation mechanism includes filters having different filtering capacities, for example, different pore sizes.
FILTER ELEMENT FOR FILTERING A FLUID PASSING THROUGH THE FILTER ELEMENT, COALESCENCE FILTER, COMPRESSED AIR FILTER SYSTEM, USE OF FILTER ELEMENT AND A METHOD OF PRODUCING A COALESCENCE FILTER
The invention relates to a filter element for filtering a fluid passing through the filter element with a group of first channels, in which each first channel extends from a first end to a second end and each first channel has on its first end an inlet opening through which the fluid to be filtered can flow into the respective first channel and is closed at its second end, and a group of second channels, in which each second channel extends from a first end to a second end and each second channel has at its second end an outlet opening through which the filtered fluid can flow out of the respective second channel and is closed at its first end, wherein at least one first channel is arranged adjacent to a second channel and the first channel is separated from the second channel by a partition wall, wherein the partition wall is formed of a filter medium through which the fluid to be filtered can flow from the first channel into the second channel, wherein the filter medium is a coalescence filter medium.
