Dual phase sand and water separator system and method of use
A dual phase separator system that receives waste material from an oil well and removes gas, oil or the like from the other waste materials. The system has two separators, one that feeds into another. One of the separators having an auger screw to facilitate the separation of the waste material.
Biconical multiphase rotary filter
An apparatus for filtration has a feed of sludge, containing liquid, solids and gases fed into a tank, the tank containing at least one spinning separation filter comprising a filter cone set having a filter screen, and a barrier cone, arranged roughly in parallel, and defining a conical workspace between them, the conical workspace having a peripheral opening to the tank and a central opening communicating with the interiors of one or more hollow shafts supporting the barrier cone and the filter cone, the upper shaft supporting the barrier cone having an upper axial channel for the exit of gases, the lower shaft supporting the center of the filter cone having a lower axial channel for the exit of liquid or oil, motor means for producing rotation in said at least one spinning separation filter, and a filtrate liquid reservoir located underneath the filter cone for capturing the filtrate passing through the filter screen.
Centrifugal de-aerator for aircraft engine
A de-aerator for a lubrication system, has: a housing defining an air-oil inlet, an oil outlet, and an air outlet of the de-aerator; a rotor received within the housing and rotatable relative to the housing about a central axis, the rotor having blades distributed about the central axis and extending at least partially radially relative to the central axis, flow passages extending between the blades, the rotor having a hub circumferentially extending around the central axis and around the blades, the hub having a peripheral wall oriented radially inwardly and defining a fore opening leading to the flow passages; and a gap between the housing and the hub of the rotor, a portion of the housing received within the fore opening and axially overlapping the peripheral wall of the hub, the gap having a fore gap inlet between the portion of the housing and the peripheral wall of the hub.
INTEGRATED PITOT TUBE AND FLUID PICKUP PORT IN ROTARY SEPARATOR
A rotary separator may comprise a drum configured to rotate, a pickup member extending into the drum, comprising a pickup channel having a first inlet for receiving a liquid, and a pitot channel having a second inlet for receiving the liquid. The liquid exits the drum through the pickup channel in response to a pressure of the liquid being measured through the pitot channel. A valve may be coupled to the pickup channel. A pressure sensor may be coupled to the pitot channel.
METHOD FOR FILLING LIQUID INTO LIQUID-FILLED RUBBER AND DEAERATOR FOR LIQUID
A method for filling a liquid into a liquid-filled rubber, the method includes a deaerating step of deaerating a liquid under normal temperature, a cooling step of cooling the deaerated liquid, a pouring step of pouring the cooled liquid into a liquid chamber of a rubber member and a sealing step of sealing the liquid chamber in an atmosphere under reduced pressure to seal the liquid in the liquid chamber.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SOLID PARTICLE REMOVAL
Disclosed is a system and method to separate solid particle components from a fluid. It can be used in close association with a hydrocarbon producing well and uses a novel combination of mechanical filtration, solids decantation, and real and apparent forces. Disclosed is a spherical vessel with a tangential inlet to introduce the fluid and a fluid exhaust and filter arranged on the center line of the interior of the vessel. A combination of pressurized fluid and solid particles enter at the tangential inlet and move primarily in a circular path around the interior of the vessel. The circular path results in the larger mass particles settling at the vessels lower region. Less massive particles may be entrained in the exiting fluid flow toward a filter element where they are removed from the exiting fluid. The vessel has an opening to remove the trapped separated particles.
Fuel oxygen reduction unit with level control device
A fuel oxygen reduction unit for an engine is provided. The fuel oxygen reduction unit includes a contactor including a fuel inlet that receives an inlet fuel flow and a stripping gas inlet that receives an inlet stripping gas flow, the contactor configured to form a fuel/gas mixture; a separator that receives the fuel/gas mixture, the fuel oxygen reduction unit defining a circulation gas flowpath from the separator to the contactor; and a level control device that controls a level of the fuel/gas mixture inside the separator by regulating the inlet fuel flow to the contactor.
Centrifugal separator having a generator for generating an electric current
A centrifugal separator includes a rotor arrangement and a drive arrangement. The centrifugal separator includes a generator for generating an electric current. The generator is configured for continuously generating a current during a full revolution of the rotor arrangement. The current is utilised for supplying electric current to a user of electric energy arranged in the rotor arrangement.
Stirring and defoaming device
A stirring and defoaming device is a stirring and defoaming device of a revolution and rotation type, wherein a vacuum unit for sucking air in each container to bring the inside of each container into a vacuum state includes sealing bodies that seal respective containers, a vacuum generation source, a suction path running toward a revolution center with each container as a starting end, passing through the revolution center to go outside the system, and reaching the vacuum generation source placed outside the system, at least part of the suction path being an independent path from the starting end in association with each container, and at least two or more vacuum measurement units, each provided in an independent path.
