The Itch Blower is hand held, have a way to determine the distance from the skin. It blows hot air with the right temperature for eliminating the skin itching. Most importantly, it can sense the skin temperature remotely and shut off the heating automatically so to avoid burning. This will guarantee a smooth approval from the FDA and a great success in commercialization. The device eliminates skin itching completely in just seconds, no matter how bad the itching is, and keeps the itching away for up to 24 hours, and when the itching comes back, patients can use the device to quickly blow away the itching again, so to stay itching free. It can also clear up acne and eczema for some patients.

CERVICAL COLLAR
20220125615 · 2022-04-28 · ·

A cervical collar that facilitates therapeutic hypothermia is provided and includes a cooling device having a front portion and a back portion fixedly coupled to the front portion on one side and removably coupled to the front portion on an opposite side. A fastening device removably couples the back portion to the front portion on the opposite side. The cooling device induces hypothermia in at least a portion of a patient. A sensor is provided that measures a physical characteristic of the patient.

Hyperthermic conditioning capsule

A self-contained, hyperthermic conditioning unit and selectively controllable environment for exercising. The unit comprises a base portion having a bed therein and a removable cover connected to the base portion to enclose a personal compartment within the unit. One or more heating elements provide heat to the personal compartment and one more pieces of physical exercise equipment are provided within the personal compartment.

Thermal system with medication interaction

A thermal control unit supplies temperature controlled fluid to a patient to control the patient's temperature. The thermal control unit includes a fluid outlet, fluid inlet, heat exchanger, pump, patient temperature probe port, user interface, and controller. The controller receives patient temperature readings from the patient temperature probe port and controls a temperature of the circulating fluid in a first manner when no event data is received regarding treatment of the patient. The controller controls a temperature of the circulating fluid in a second and different manner when event data is received. The event data may relate to medication and/or fluid administered to the patient. The different manners include determining a target fluid temperature in using different inputs and/or alarming in different manners. In some cases, the controller pauses the use of the patient temperature readings while continuing to deliver temperature controlled fluid to the patient.

FLUID STIMULATION METHODS AND DEVICES FOR TREATING FLUID OVERLOAD
20230240937 · 2023-08-03 ·

Methods for treating fluid overload in a subject comprise shifting fluids directly and non-invasively from an interstitial compartment of the subject to skin of the subject through controlled local sweating. Methods of the invention allow for removal of excess fluid from the interstitial compartment of the subject and treat fluid overload in the subject. Sweat stimulation systems comprise a chamber and first and second relative humidity sensors. The chamber is sized to fit around a body part of a subject, comprises an inlet and an outlet, and is configured such that air flows through the chamber from the inlet to the outlet. The first relative humidity sensor is operably located inside the inlet, and the second relative humidity sensor is operably located proximate the outlet.

EYE THERMAL COMPRESS

An eye compress assembly includes two thermally adjustable heating and cooling device and a bridge connecting the two devices is provided. The thermally adjustable device is configured to apply thermal treatment against the eye region. Within the thermally adjustable heating and cooling device the thermoelectric element is powered by a battery. A power input port is provided in the bridge to connect into a power supply in order to recharge the battery.

Device for hyperthermia treatment of itching
11759348 · 2023-09-19 · ·

The invention relates to a device for hyperthermic treatment of itching, for example following insect bites, wherein during the treatment a treatment surface is regulated at a temperature of preferably between 42° C. and 56° C. for a period of 2 sec to 12 sec and a hardware-implemented temperature monitor limits the maximum temperature of the treatment surface and a safety fuse shuts off the device in the case of a short-circuit or uncontrolled continuous heating.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A THERMOREGULATED ENVIRONMENT

Various systems and devices are provided for determining a weaning readiness for weaning a patient from a thermoregulated microenvironment. In one example, a method includes receiving current patient parameters of the patient and applying a weaning model to the current patient parameters to calculate a weaning index representing a likelihood that the patient can be successfully weaned from the microenvironment. The method also includes outputting the weaning index for display on a display device or for storage in a medical record of the patient and upon outputting the weaning index, receiving one or more subsequent patient outcomes, the one or more subsequent patient outcomes comprising whether the patient developed any complications within the duration since being weaned from the microenvironment. The method also includes updating the weaning model based on the one or more received subsequent patient outcomes.

SYSTEMS, DEVICES AND METHODS FOR NEUROSTIMULATION
20210361943 · 2021-11-25 ·

Systems, devices, and methods for neurostimulation via vestibular stimulation are described. One example is a device for administering thermal stimulation to an ear canal of a subject. The device may include an earpiece configured to be at least partially insertable into the ear canal of the subject; a thermoelectric device thermally coupled to the earpiece and configured to heat and/or cool the earpiece to thereby heat and/or cool the ear canal of the subject; and a controller configured to administer a selected treatment plan including administering a caloric vestibular stimulation (CVS) stimulus to the ear canal of the subject in a condition-treatment effective amount during a first treatment interval. The treatment plan may be effective to produce a durable improvement in at least one symptom of the condition for a time of at least 1 week following cessation of the administering.
