Hydrodynamic separators, assemblies and methods for storm water treatment
10710907 · 2020-07-14 · ·

A hydrodynamic separator for storm water includes weirs and a first plate within a housing to create a pretreatment area for the storm water. The separator further includes a hollow inner member for inducing rotational flow of water and having an outlet below the first plate which outlet is connected to a lower second plate. Solids further settle from the water in the housing below the lower second plate. A water exit path exists between the two plates.

A passive filter cell having a basin with a floor and two or more vertical or upright sidewalls forming chute or container having first or left sidewall, second or right sidewall, and third or back sidewall, and fourth or front downwardly curved sidewall, an inlet positioned proximate a top of the fourth or front sidewall and an outlet positioned proximate the top of the third or back sidewall, wherein the floor is configured angled from the fourth or front sidewall to the third or back sidewall, discharge pipe positioned proximate junction between the floor and the third or back sidewall, and lip configured to extend from the top of the third or back sidewall into an interior of the basin.

Apparatus and method for recycling blackwater and greywater at oil and gas well sites

A mobile water treatment system and method, of which the system includes a bioreactor including an aerator tank configured to receive an influent fluid, a conical clarifier positioned in the aerator tank, the conical clarifier defining a downwardly-facing opening. An interior of the conical clarifier is in communication with the aerator tank, external to the conical clarifier, via the downwardly-facing opening. The bioreactor also includes a plurality of aeration vents positioned proximal to a bottom of the tank and configured to direct air into the aerator tank, but not toward a bottom of the conical clarifier, and an effluent outlet positioned in the conical clarifier. A relatively clean effluent fluid, in comparison to the influent fluid in the aerator tank, exits from the conical clarifier via the effluent outlet.

COOLANT SUPPLY DEVICE
20200078895 · 2020-03-12 ·

A coolant supply device includes a supply pump configured to supply a coolant of a clean tank to a machine tool, a recovering route configured to return the coolant from the machine tool to a dirty tank, a cyclone filter arranged on a coupling route and configured to separate the coolant into dirty liquid and a clean liquid, and a container connected to a dirty liquid outlet of the filter and configured to accumulate the sludge. The coolant supply device further includes a sensing unit configured to sense the amount of accumulation of the sludge in the container, and a controller configured to perform control based on a sensing result of the sensing unit.

Fluid removal apparatus for use with a weir tank

A separation apparatus that includes a weir tank having a plurality of cells and fluid removal apparatus for each cell to remove the fluid from each cell. The fluid removal apparatus includes an actuator and an extension arm whose movement is caused by the actuator. In addition to the actuator and the extension arm, the fluid removal apparatus includes a plunger attached to the extension arm for selectively engaging a first opening in each cell. Furthermore, a method of removing fluid from the separation apparatus via the fluid removal apparatus.

COOLANT PROCESSING APPARATUS
20240091895 · 2024-03-21 ·

A coolant processing apparatus removes sludge from a coolant discharged from a machine tool. The coolant processing apparatus includes a first reservoir and a second reservoir provided in a tank for retaining the coolant. The first reservoir includes a flow path in which the discharged coolant flows, and a portion downstream of the flow path to retain the coolant such that the sludge remains in the first reservoir. The flow path has at least one bend to bend a flow of the coolant at least once in a horizontal direction. The second reservoir retains the coolant flowing out from the first reservoir. A boundary wall is provided between the first and second reservoirs, at a location downstream of the at least one bend of the flow path, and has such a height that allows a supernatant of the coolant in the first reservoir to flow into the second reservoir.

A system and a method for treating and recycling process water has a cylindrical sedimentation tank and a cylindrical tank for flotation and storage downstream of the sedimentation tank. Water is added to an inlet at the upper part of the sedimentation tank, and treated water is removed from an outlet at the lower part of the flotation tank for recycling. A screw in the sedimentation tank has a major diameter similar the sedimentation tank, which forces water to flow rotationally from the top towards the bottom of the sedimentation tank. A riser between the sedimentation tank and the flotation tank with one end in a lower part of the sedimentation tank, and the other end at an upper part of the flotation tank. A cleaning loop with ozone added is between the tanks, removing water from the flotation tank and returning it to the sedimentation tank.
