A single stage clarifier and mixing assembly includes a housing, a mixing section within the housing and a clarifier section within the housing. The mixing section includes a mixing chamber having (a) an inlet, adapted for delivering an inlet stream to the mixing chamber, at an upper end, and (b) a mixing section outlet at a lower end. The clarifier section extends concentrically around the mixing section. The single stage clarifier and mixing assembly also includes an agitator adapted for mixing the inlet stream in the mixing chamber.

A method of removing sediment from fluid flow within a storm water drain pit by deflecting flow entering the pit towards the side walls of the pit by one or more deflectors. This reduces the energy of the fluid flow and promotes settling of sediment within the catch pit. Each deflector is preferably of a concave form and may be located in a storm water drain pit bag or suspended. A removable catch basin receptacle for a storm water drain pit includes a container has a low flow outlet defining a fluid path for fluid at a first level within the container to a second level, higher than the first level, outside the container. An overflow path provides a fluid flow path out of the container at a level higher than the first or second level.
REMOVING DEBRIS FROM A HYDROCARBON FLUID
A hydrocarbon production apparatus that removes debris from a hydrocarbon fluid is described. The apparatus includes a first conduit, a second conduit, a valve, and at least one baffle. The first conduit includes an inlet, an outlet, and a flow path that extends between the inlet and the outlet. The flow path can receive a flow of a hydrocarbon fluid, which includes debris, from the inlet and direct the hydrocarbon fluid from the inlet to the outlet. The second conduit includes a debris receptacle. The valve is fluidly coupled to the second conduit and can isolate the debris receptacle from the flow path of the first conduit and at least a portion of the second conduit. The at least one baffle is oriented to direct at least a portion of the debris from the flow path of the first conduit to the second conduit.
System and method for processing flowback fluid
The system and method for processing flowback fluid include a plurality of wellheads producing flowback fluid flows, a plurality of first stage separators corresponding to at least one wellhead of an installation with multiple wellheads and multiple flowback fluid flows, a plurality of metering devices corresponding to each first stage separator, and a second stage separator in fluid connection with the metering devices and the first stage separators. Flowback fluid flows pass from the wellhead to the first stage separators for initial separation of a gas phase, through the metering devices for determination of production levels for each wellhead, and into the second stage separator for an additional gas phase separation. The storage volumes of the first and second stage separators control the retention time in the second stage separator for safe and efficient operation.
System and method for processing flowback fluid and removal of solids
The system and method for processing flowback fluid include a plurality of wellheads producing flowback fluid flows, a plurality of first stage separators corresponding to at least one wellhead of an installation with multiple wellheads and multiple flowback fluid flows, a plurality of metering devices corresponding to each first stage separator, and a second stage separator in fluid connection with the metering devices and the first stage separators. The second stage separator includes a solids separator to further control the storage volumes of the first and second stage separators and retention time in the second stage separator by removing solids.
