Personal inhaling device
A personal inhaling apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes an ultrasonic personal inhaler with ultra-fine mist transducer that delivers both cool and warm mist using a heater, a face mask, a fluid supply means, and a power source including batteries and/or corded power supply. The apparatus may include a receptacle for a scented pad placed in contact with the heater. Indicators functioning in a pre-determined manner provide indication on if the device is delivering a cool mist, a warm mist, is switched-OFF, a level of charge of a power source, and a level of the fluid in the fluid supply means.
Customized skin care and method to provide same
Methods to provide customized skin care by using specimen dispensing device to dispense specimens from removable dispensers for the purpose of treating skin of a user are presented. Methods to utilize the embedded memory and electrical interface of the dispensing device and dispensers to produce customizable skin care products that give better skin treatment results are also presented. The invention may also be applied to health care and personal care needs.
Beauty Device with Hydrogen Sterilization Water Spray and Temperature Stimulation Function
The beauty device according to the present invention comprises by including a mist processing part generating sterilization water by electrolyzing water in a water tank and spraying the generated sterilization water in the form of mists, and a temperature stimulation processing part applying temperature stimulation to skin using a thermoelement. A more convenient and efficient skin care can be made possible because a mist spray function of hydrogen sterilization water and a temperature stimulation function can be simultaneously implemented using a single portable device. The temperature stimulation function can be simply implemented because temperature is controlled using a Peltier device.
SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING INTERVAL THERMAL THERAPY
The disclosure concerns a computer-controlled system for interval thermal therapy; the system including a control unit console configured for placement on a bench-top or similar setup, the console is connected to a hand-held thermal therapy application assembly, either by way of a cable extending between the hand-held assembly and the console, or via a cordless coupling therebetween. The hand-held assembly generally comprises a removeably applicator with a thermally conductive contact surface configured to communicate hot or cold thermal energy, or a combination of hot and cold thermal therapy in various intervals, the contact surface of the hand held assembly is used to contact a patient's body at a desired treatment site for effectuating various physiological treatments or therapies.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR TREATMENT OF OBSTRUCTIVE SLEEP APNEA UTILIZING CRYOLYSIS OF ADIPOSE TISSUES
A heat exchanger is disclosed for causing cryolysis of adipose tissue of a human tongue. The heat exchanger includes a body having cooling channels for circulating fluids therein. The body forms a contact surface that contacts a portion of the dorsal surface of the tongue and a portion of the base of the tongue. The heat exchanger includes a pair of side walls extending from the body and forming a pair of side contact surfaces that are dimensioned so that they contact the dorsal and lateral surfaces of the tongue in a manner so as to constrict the tongue when the contact surface is in contact with the tongue. A method of treatment for apnea using the heat exchanger and/or administering a chemical adipolysis formulation/vasoconstriction agent is also disclosed.
Nocireceptor Blockade
Systems, Methods and Devices to apply concomitant cold and vibratory stimulus immediately prior to injection to reduce pain, in a simple and mechanically advantaged device actuatable by a user's non-dominant hand or a third party.
Handheld medical cooling device for cooling a target area of a subject patient for medical treatment and method thereof
The present disclosure provides a device and a method for cooling living tissues for a medical purpose and other purposes. The cooling device comprises: a container configured to accommodate a cooling medium and thermally coupled with the cooling medium by directly contacting the cooling medium; a cooling generator configured to be thermally coupled with the container by a direct contact and thereby to provide cooling energy to the cooling medium; and a heat sink dissipating heat from the cooling generator, the heat sing being configured to be spaced apart from the cooling generator and to be thermally coupled with the cooling generator without a direct contact with the cooling generator.
BEAUTY DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
A beauty device applies an alternating current to the skin surface of a user and changes a frequency while keeping a voltage or the like constant in order to adjust the degree of a bodily sensation. A beauty device includes: an electrode portion that includes two or more electrodes and applies the alternating current between the electrodes; a frequency setting portion that sets the frequency of the alternating current either in multiple stages of three or more stages or steplessly; a sensitivity adjusting portion that adjusts the degree of a bodily sensation of the user; and an alternating current generating portion that outputs the set frequency; in which the frequency setting portion sets the frequency based on the adjustment of the sensitivity adjusting portion to adjust the degree of a bodily sensation.
Cosmetology device
A device for applying electrical stimulation to a surface of the human body utilizes a calibrated, pre-arranged pattern of conducting, current emitting elements to distribute current throughout an entire surface at once, such as human face, without needing to alter the device to accommodate various are sizes, including varying face sizes.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DRY EYE TREATMENT
A dry eye treatment device, comprising a roller, a holder, wherein the roller contacts and rolls over an eyelid in a plurality of directions in a treatment; a heating element to generate heat, wherein at least a portion of the heat is transferred to the roller; a temperature monitoring system, which comprises a thermal sensor and a temperature control circuit; and an electric power source. The roller is of a convex cylindrical or concave cylindrical shape. A method for dry eye treatment, comprising: cleaning an eyelid with a first cleansing wipe; heating a roller to a predetermined temperature; applying thermally conductive gel between the roller and the eyelid; rolling the roller over the eyelid in a plurality of directions; and removing the thermally conductive gel and expressed debris with a second cleansing wipe; and further, increasing the temperature by an increment and repeating the treatment method.
