Radiant heat foot warming device(s)
A radiant heat foot warming device including a top planar surface configured to emanate radiant heat therefrom to warm feet of a user; a bottom planar surface spaced apart from the top planar surface; a plurality of curved sidewalls positioned between and connected to the top planar surface and the bottom planar surface; and an adjustable temperature control member positioned on the top planar surface that displays device temperature and further adjustably controls device temperature to regulate radiant heat emanating from the top planar surface.
Arm warming device
An arm warming device including a sleeve. A shoulder cover is connected to a proximal end of the sleeve. A strap is connected to the shoulder cover to secure the arm warming device to the user. A heating element is disposed within the sleeve for applying heat to the arm of the user. The heating element comprises far infrared fiber material. The sleeve includes an interior layer, a central layer, and an outer layer of a substantially waterproof material. The heating element is integrated with the central layer for applying heat to the arm of the user.
Device for hyperthermia treatment of itching
The invention relates to a device for hyperthermic treatment of itching, for example following insect bites, wherein during the treatment a treatment surface is regulated at a temperature of preferably between 42° C. and 56° C. for a period of 2 sec to 12 sec and a hardware-implemented temperature monitor limits the maximum temperature of the treatment surface and a safety fuse shuts off the device in the case of a short-circuit or uncontrolled continuous heating.
ACTIVATED CARBON BALLS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THEREOF
The embodiments herein provide a method for producing activated carbonaceous balls. The method includes a step of crushing and sizing raw coconut shells to form coconut shell granules having a diameter of about 0.02 mm-2.36 mm, preferably 0.075 mm-1.18 mm. The method includes a step of mixing pure water to a food grade powder appropriately and boiling it slowly at 15° C.-80° C. to obtain a water-food grade powder mixture. The method includes a step of adding the water-food grade powder mixture 20-40% by weight to the coconut shell granules 100% by weight to obtain a slurry in a pourability condition. The method includes a step of pouring the slurry into a pill making machine equipped with a mold of 3 mm, 5 mm, and 8 mm in diameters selectively to produce the spherical carbon tablets. The method includes a step of drying the spherical carbon tablets and carbonizing the spherical carbon tablets to obtain the activated carbonaceous balls.
INFANT WARMING SYSTEM HAVING ECG MONITOR AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING RESUSCITATION ASSISTANCE
An infant warming system comprising a platform for supporting an infant, at least two chest electrodes configured to connect to and detect cardiac potentials from a chest of the infant, an ECG monitor configured to receive the cardiac potentials from the at least two chest electrodes and determine a heart rate based on the cardiac potentials, a pulse oximeter device configured to determine an SpO.sub.2 for the infant, and a processor configured to compare the heart rate for the infant to a first heart rate threshold and compare the SpO.sub.2 for the infant to a first SpO.sub.2 threshold. The processor can also adjust a display of the heart rate and the SpO.sub.2 on a display device based on the comparisons and generate a first care instruction via a user interface based on the heart rate, the SpO.sub.2, or a combination thereof.
UV RADIATION DEVICES AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
The present invention features devices, systems, and methods of use thereof for delivering therapeutic or sterilizing ultraviolet (UV) radiation, such as UVC or UVA radiation.
GARMENT STRUCTURE HAVING ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM FOR ABUTTING AT LEAST ONE PAD UNIT FIRMLY AGAINST SKIN TO PROVIDE AT LEAST ONE OF ELECTROTHERAPY AND HEAT THERAPY
A garment structure having an adjustment mechanism for abutting at least one pad unit against a human body includes a garment body, at least one adjustment belt, and at least one pad unit being an electrode pad unit, a heating pad unit, or an electrode pad unit with a heating unit. The adjustment belt has one end connected to the garment body, and another end fixed to an outer surface of the garment body. When the adjustment belt is pulled tight, the garment body is dragged to move toward the skin. The pad unit is disposed on the garment body, and moves, along with a portion of the garment body being dragged, to abut against the skin. A user wearing the garment structure can pull and secure the adjustment belt to enable the pad unit to easily and quickly abut against the skin to proceed with electrotherapy and/or heat therapy.
Deep body spread microwave hyperthermia device for personal uses and operating method thereof
Disclosed are a deep body spread microwave hyperthermia device for personal uses and an operation method thereof. The operating method may include generating a control signal to control patches attached to the skin of a user, dividing the control signal into a first signal and a second signal having a phase different from a phase of the first signal, transmitting the first signal and the second signal to patches attached to different positions, among the patches, and producing hyperthermia in a body of the user by radiating radio waves based on the first signal or the second signal received by each of the patches.
Cordless heating pad
A heating pad includes a heat pad with an anterior and posterior side. The heat pad includes a first layer, a second layer, and a third layer. The second layer is located in between the first layer and the third layer. The first layer is located on the posterior side, while the third layer is located on the anterior side. The second layer has a wire selectively heated to increase the temperature of the heat pad. The third layer is a reflective material positioned to reflect heat from the second layer towards the first layer, decreasing heat emitted on the anterior side of the heat pad. The heating pad also includes a battery storage section for securing a battery. The battery is in electronical communication with the wire of the heat pad. The heating pad further includes an engagement mechanism to secure the heating pad to a user.
Transparent head for a skin treatment device
A transparent cover member for a skin treatment device passes light and heat to a user's skin. The transparent cover member presents a comfortable flat surface at its exterior, and includes features that couple to a heating element that surrounds a plurality of visible light LEDs. The transparent cover member can include retaining features to assist in assembling the head assembly of the skin treatment device.
