Liquid processing apparatus and liquid processing method
Provided is a liquid processing apparatus and a liquid processing method for reducing a waste amount of a high specific gravity liquid. The liquid processing apparatus includes: a supply pump; a bubble tank including an inflow port, an overflow port, and a return port; a microbubble generator disposed outside the bubble tank; a recovery tank having a recovery port to recover the processing liquid overflown from a first liquid level to the tank; a separation tank including a settling tank connected to the overflow port, and a floating tank connected to the settling tank at a lower portion, and an ejector having a inlet port connected to the supply pump, a suction port connected the suction body, and a discharge port connected to the return port.
Separator
A separator, for separating solids from a liquid, comprises a hydrodynamic separator, a first filtration device, a first backwash device, a second filtration device, and a second backwash device. The first filtration device comprises a first inlet at a first level for receiving at least a first portion of the liquid from the hydrodynamic separator, and a first filter for filtering the first portion of the liquid received via the first inlet. During filtration of the first portion of the liquid, the first portion of the liquid passes through the first filter away from the first inlet and a first portion of solids is retained by the first filter. The first filter is located between the first inlet and the first backwash device. The first backwash device is configured to alternately prevent and allow the passage of the first portion of the liquid through the first backwash device such that, when the passage of the first portion of the liquid through the first backwash device is prevented, the first portion of the liquid that has passed through the first filter passes back through the first filter toward the first inlet so as to remove the first portion of solids from the first filter. The second filtration device comprises a second inlet at a second level higher than the first level for receiving a second portion of the liquid from the hydrodynamic separator, and a second filter for filtering the second portion of the liquid received via the second inlet. During filtration of the second portion of the liquid, the second portion of the liquid passes through the second filter away from the second inlet, and a second portion of solids is retained by the second filter. The second filter is located between the second inlet and the second backwash device. The second backwash device is configured to alternately prevent and allow the passage of the second portion of the liquid through the second backwash device such that, when the passage of the second portion of the liquid through the second backwash device is prevented, the second portion of the liquid that has passed through the second filter passes back through the second filter toward the second inlet so as to remove the second portion of solids from the second filter.
Skimming apparatus
A skimming apparatus with a pivot arm and a drive follower on the pivot arm that guides a belting to facilitate precise placement of the belting for efficient skimming.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR BUOYANT SEPARATION
A method and system for buoyant separation of a target constituent of a sample, the method comprising: at a process chamber, combining a volume of substrates having a first density with the sample, thereby producing a population of target-bound complexes comprising the target constituent bound to at least a portion of the volume of substrates; within the process chamber, physically separating the population of target-bound complexes from the sample based upon interaction between the volume of substrates and an applied force; aggregating the population of target-bound complexes at a collection region of the process chamber; extracting the population of target-bound complexes from the process chamber; and processing the target constituent from the population of target-bound complexes for further analysis.
Hydrodynamic separator for stormwater treatment
A method, system, and apparatus directed to an innovative approach for the treatment of stormwater utilizing hydrodynamic separator assembly designed to maximize flow movement for more efficient sediment removal and maximize clearance space within assembly to facilitate cleaning and increase storage capacity of trash, debris, and sediment.
FRACTIONATOR ANNULAR DRAIN APPARATUS AND METHOD
A tank system may be conventional and fixed, or mobile, such as a fracking fluid or other tank trailer. A drain port thereof is fitted with an adapter connecting a snorkel system to drain liquids from near the top of the liquid level in the tank. A snorkel head at the extreme distal end of a tube near the longitudinal center of the tank is suspended by a system of buoys. A flow field controller plate resists formation of vortices near the snorkel head, so it can operate as near the surface as possible, withdrawing the highest grade oil efficiently. At its exit, the proximal end of the tube drains oil through an inner conduit of an adapter at a penetration in the wall of the tank. The adapter forms an annulus around the inner conduit draining tank bottoms directly from the tank.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SCREENING
A screening system for solid removal includes a housing and a screen positioned within the housing. A flow inlet is operatively connected to an interior chamber defined by the screen. A sump is downstream from the flow inlet for capturing solids that do not pass through the screen. A flow outlet is downstream from the screen in fluid communication with the flow inlet. A moveable cleaning assembly may be positioned either within a perimeter of the screen, around the perimeter of the screen or both. The moveable cleaning assembly is moveable with respect to the screen.
SEPARATION OF FLUIDS CONTAINING SOLIDS
The methods and systems provide for the improvement in the separation of different portions of solids particles, such as bacteria, from a process stream. The methods use gas and control of fluid flow within a tank zone to provide for separation that is more selective.
Surface Skimmer Lifting Device
A lifting mechanism for a wastewater plant skimmer arm is provided. The device includes a member. A pair of attaching members are each connected to the member via a hinge. The pair of attaching members are parallel from each other. A skimming member is connected to the pair of attaching members, and parallel to the member. A clamp with a pin is mounted to the member. A flat bar is connected to the clamp and pivots about the pin. The flat bar includes a hook and a plurality of notches. A U-bolt placed on the skimming member includes a rod, that may engage with the hook or a notch of the plurality of notches on the flat bar. The hook may lift the skimming member by engaging with the rod. The desired position of the skimming member may be secured by engaging with a notch of the plurality of notches.
