Vaults, boxes, systems, and methods of treatment systems to capture pollutants from storm water runoff and prevent the conveyance of these pollutants from entering a receiving water body or landscape area, which is designed to be a part of a local permanent storm water drainage infrastructure. A single treatment box, vault and system combines both drainage conveyance, multi-level treatment techniques, variable hydraulic capabilities, and easy and inexpensive methods for servicing the system. A flow spreader having a triangular shape with straight sides, or concave sides or convex sides can split incoming water to pass into dual screen filtration systems. Additionally, an upwardly angled debris ramp above a downwardly angled screened defector can be located on both sides of the flow spreader to help direct debris and trash into dual screened boxes. The system can also include components selected from a shelf beneath the spreader, at least one baffle, skimmer, deflectors, media filtration and hydroslide water pressure lines with spray heads for cleaning debris on a sloped floor.

Vertically oriented cylindrical vaults, boxes, systems, and methods of treatment systems to capture pollutants from storm water runoff and prevent the conveyance of these pollutants from entering a receiving water body or landscape area, which is designed to be a part of a local permanent storm water drainage infrastructure. A flow deflector can include a flow spreader for splitting an incoming flow into two flow paths that interact with high profile vertical baffle(s), and with low profile vertical baffles, and angled low profile vertical baffles that extend above downwardly inclined surfaces of a horizontal deflector having an opening for allowing debris to fall. Treated water can pass out of an outflow pipe on an opposite side of the cylindrical vault. A bottom open skimmer or a flow restrictive skimmer or a hydro-variant skimmer can be used in front of the output flow port. A hydro slide system can be used to push debris toward the middle of a sloped floor for easier removal through access points in the vault lid. The input flow port can be spaced approximately 90 degrees from the output port. And the input port and the output port can be on the same sides of the cylindrical vault.

A system for processing solid and liquid waste includes a first shale shaker, a second shale shaker, a submersible pump, a centrifugal pump, a first collection tank, a second collection tank, a mud cleaner assembly, a variable frequency drive (VFD) centrifugal solid-liquid separator, and a water clarifying assembly. The first shale shaker is in fluid communication with the second shale shaker through the submersible pump. The second shale shaker is in fluid communication with the centrifugal pump through the first collection tank. The centrifugal pump is in fluid communication with the mud cleaner assembly. The mud cleaner assembly is in fluid communication with the VFD centrifugal solid-liquid separator through the water clarifying assembly. Resultantly, the system discharges a flow of usable water through the VFD centrifugal solid-liquid separator as an initial load of solid and liquid waste is inputted into the first shale shaker.

REVERSE FLOW TYPE MULTI-STAGE SEDIMENTATION RAKE-FREE THICKENING DEVICE

Disclosed is a reverse flow multi-stage sedimentation rake-free thickening device relating to the field of slime water treatment. The device includes a feed assembly, a guide assembly, and a clean coal collection assembly. The guide assembly also includes a central tank body and coal slurry flows from the upper part of the central tank body to the inner side wall of the central tank body through the feed assembly and the medicament, and then flows to the middle of the central tank body through the guide assembly. After the reaction, the bubbles carry the fine coal slime and move up to the clean coal collection assembly. The clean coal collection assembly is located above the outlet of the guide assembly, and the clean coal collection assembly is sequentially provided with a central collection area, a defoaming area, and a diversion settlement area from the middle to the outside.

A skimming and separation device includes an outer casing defining a compartment, a floater that provides a skimming function, the floater being attached at its lower side to a vertically arranged bellow allowing the floater to adapt flow into a substantially circum volume and to move from an upper position with essentially no flow into the compartment to a lower position allowing flow of water and debris to follow the contours of the floater in a downward direction. The device further includes a power device with a propeller, the power device being controlled by a control unit such that various kinds of flows and pressures may be generated to control the in-flow and outflow of the device. At least one peripheral flow deflecting member achieves a rotational movement of downward directed flow of water and debris, in a horizontal plane and around a vertical longitudinal center axis of the device.

Clarifier with Improved Energy Dissipating Inlet
20200398193 · 2020-12-24 ·

A clarifier of a wastewater treatment system is made more efficient and cost effective with an energy dissipating inlet (EDI) that removes the need for a conventional feedwell/EDI system. A central influent pipe has wastewater outlet ports under the liquid surface, the ports being surrounded by an efficient EDI surrounding the center pipe and extending outwardly therefrom. The EDI receives influent flow and directs the sludge outwardly and generally downwardly at reduced flow velocity. Series of baffles in the EDI help slow the flow velocity and disperse the sludge. In another embodiment a faucet-type EDI has discharge openings that disperse the sludge downwardly after it has flowed through sets of baffles above. Significant cost reductions in material and installation are realized by elimination of the conventional feedwell/EDI system.
