INTEGRATED LATCH/HOLD-OPEN SYSTEM FOR NEFCO LAUNDER COVERS
A system is provided for covering a launder channel of a clarifier tank, the launder channel having a tank wall and launder channel wall. The system comprises a mounting section connected to the launder channel wall, a hinge, and an openable cover panel, movable between a closed and open position. The mounting section includes an angled resting structure for supporting the cover panel, when in the open position, away from the mounting section.
Feedwell having twisted plates
A feedwell design for a clarifier that may better dissipate the entrance energy of feed slurry liquid exiting the feedwell and entering the clarifier. Plates having a surface area twisted around a longitudinal axis may be provided at the bottom of the feedwell. The plates may cause a change in the flow direction of the feed, from being mostly horizontal to mostly vertical, to slow the slurry. The provision of plates at the bottom of a feedwell in a clarifier may advantageously reduce the velocity of the materials entering the clarifier, or may increase the uniformity of the flow rate of the materials while reducing or maintaining the amount of shear force, turbulence, or other forces that may have a detrimental effect on clarification. Likewise, this may improve the rate at which solids settle out of the feed slurry solution, and thus improve the clarity of the removed liquid.
System and method of solids conditioning in a filtration system
A method and apparatus for conditioning the settled solids in the bottom of a wastewater filtration tank to reduce the acidification of the sludge and prevent the excessive growth of undesirable biological growth.
RAKE-FREE THICKENING DEVICE INCLUDING DRIVING AREA
Disclosed is a rake-free thickening device including driving area. The device includes a feed assembly, a diversion assembly and a clean coal collection assembly. The clean coal collection assembly includes a driving area. The diversion assembly includes a central tank. Slime water passes through the feed assembly and flows with a medicament from an upper part of the central tank to a middle of the central tank, and then diffuses around. Bubbles carry the fine slime up after reacting. The driving zone drives the dispersed bubbles to a defoaming zone located in the middle of the central tank. The slime water in the central tank flows through the central tank after defoaming. With the continuously filling of slime water, the slime water above the central tank overflows the central tank to the clean coal collection assembly within the diversion and settlement area.
Device for holding a racking cane
A device for holding a racking cane is disclosed herein. The device includes a base component, the base component configured to be attached to a neck of a carboy; and a clip component coupled to the base component, the clip component configured to hold a racking cane steady relative to the carboy, the clip component being adjustable relative to the base component so as to allow a position and/or angle of the racking cane to be adjusted by a user.
Flow back separation system with dispersing device
A flow back system for separating solids from a slurry recovered from a hydrocarbon well. The system includes a V-shaped tank with a first series of baffles configured to cause the settling of solids that are moved by a shaftless auger to a conduit fluidly connected to a dispersing device mounted over or adjacent to a shaker such as a linear shaker. The shaker receives and processes the output of the dispersing device and dewaters solids. The underflow of the shaker is recirculated through the tank.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR TREATMENT AND PURIFICATION OF OIL AND GAS PRODUCED WATER
A method of treating oil and gas produced water may include: receiving produced water from one or more wells; separating an aqueous portion of the produced water from oil and solids included in the produced water in order to provide recovered water; performing anaerobic bio-digestion of organic matter included in the produced water using a biomass mixture of anaerobic bacteria obtained from a plurality of wells; aerating the recovered water in order to promote metal precipitation; and performing aerobic bio-digestion of organic matter present in the recovered water. Some embodiments may also include one or more of anoxic equalization, filtration, pasteurization, reverse osmosis, and biocide treatment of the recovered water. The recovered water may be used for oil and gas well fracking and/or land and stream application. Other methods of treating oil and gas produced water are also described.
Settler with a settler plate that includes a hollow support
The present disclosure relates to settler plates for a plate settler. The settler plates generally include a hollow support with a hollow interior to receive clarified liquid from a flow channel between adjacent settler plates. An orifice is formed through the hollow support to direct clarified liquid from the flow channel into the hollow interior. The orifice can be positioned such that clarified liquid can flow upwardly out of the flow channel and downwardly through the orifice into the hollow interior. The hollow support can be integrally formed with the settler plate. For example, the hollow support can be formed by bending a tab extending from an end of the settler plate. The tab can be bent into a hollow support with a cross section that is generally polygonal.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CLEANING LARGE PIPES, SUCH AS STORM DRAIN CONDUITS
Apparatuses and methods for cleaning accumulated sediment from storm drain conduits and other large-diameter conduits are disclosed. A nozzle assembly is arranged to deliver a high-volume flow of water at a pressure high enough to loosen sediment from the interior of a conduit and to propel the nozzle assembly and an associated nozzle feed hose upstream within a conduit being cleaned. Water from the nozzle assembly flushes the sediment downstream and is then collected, partially cleaned, and reused in the nozzle assembly. Mud and clay may be left in the water to increase its specific gravity and viscosity. A self-contained portable and mobile system includes a tank and apparatus for removal of high concentrations of entrained or suspended solids, and a pump and conduits for delivering a high-volume flow of water, containing quantities of suspended solids, to the nozzle assembly.
Water skimming device and method
A skimmer for removing water from a sediment basin to a water removal system may include a float portion, and a first pipe having a first end attached to said float portion and in communication with the water removal system. The first pipe has an orifice formed therein to admit water from below a surface of said sediment basin. A guard is attached to said float portion and said first pipe, said guard fixedly positioning said float portion so that said orifice is located below said surface. The guard has a continuous, vertically-extending side wall having a bottom edge defining a water flow path opening located below said orifice. A flow path into said orifice from the sediment basin extends only through said flow path opening, upwardly to said orifice, then downwardly though said orifice into said first pipe.
