VOLUME CONTROLLED HYDRODYNAMIC SEPARATOR FOR STORMWATER TREATMENT

A method, system, and apparatus directed to an innovative approach for the treatment of stormwater utilizing hydrodynamic separator assembly designed to maximize flow movement for more efficient sediment removal and maximize clearance space within assembly to facilitate cleaning and increase storage capacity of trash, debris, and sediment. In particular, the described hydrodynamic separator is an improvement over other hydrodynamic separators known in the art with the inclusion of one or more down pipes which siphon water from the lower portion of the sump chamber. The inclusion of down pipes allows for an improved control of the velocity of the water flow through the device by distributing flow into more than one path.

NEUTRALIZATION/WATER SEPARATION DEVICE FOR ESTERIFIED PRODUCT AND NEUTRALIZATION/WATER SEPARATION METHOD FOR ESTERIFIED PRODUCT

A neutralization/water separation device for an esterified product including: a neutralization tank in which a crude product mixture containing alcohol and an ester compound, a neutralizing agent, and water are put to produce a neutralized mixture; a water separation tank disposed below the neutralization tank to divide the neutralization mixture into a floating layer and an aqueous layer; a partition wall extending downward from a ceiling of the water separation tank to provide a lower passage in the water separation tank; and a transfer line that transfers the neutralized mixture from the neutralization tank to the water separation tank, where the water separation tank includes: a first water separation part into which the neutralized mixture is introduced from the neutralization tank through the transfer line; and a second water separation part into which the neutralized mixture is introduced from the first water separation part through the lower passage, where the first water separation part and the second water separation part are partitioned by the partition wall.

Sand discharge control system

A system for controlling sand discharge from a plurality of sand separators each of which has a dump line and an actuated valve apparatus in the dump line. There is a first controller which is operatively connected to the actuated valve assemblies and is configured to open one of the actuated valve assemblies in response to a parameter such as internal pressure in the sand separator. There is a second controller which is connected to the first controller and which is also connected to an actuated discharge valve in a common discharge line to which all of the dump lines are connected. On a command from the first controller to the second controller that a selected one of the actuated valve assemblies is opening, the second controller opens the discharge valve.

Methods and apparatus for treatment and purification of oil and gas produced water

A method of treating oil and gas produced water may include: receiving produced water from one or more wells; separating an aqueous portion of the produced water from oil and solids included in the produced water in order to provide recovered water; performing anaerobic bio-digestion of organic matter included in the produced water using a biomass mixture of anaerobic bacteria obtained from a plurality of wells; aerating the recovered water in order to promote metal precipitation; and performing aerobic bio-digestion of organic matter present in the recovered water. Some embodiments may also include one or more of anoxic equalization, filtration, pasteurization, reverse osmosis, and biocide treatment of the recovered water. The recovered water may be used for oil and gas well fracking and/or land and stream application. Other methods of treating oil and gas produced water are also described.

Decanting backwash receiver

Disclosed herein are decanting backwash receiver assemblies, and related methods of fabrication and use. The present disclosure provides improved decanting backwash receiver assemblies for decanting of input feeds, and improved systems/methods for utilizing and fabricating the decanting backwash receiver assemblies. The present disclosure provides decanting backwash receiver assemblies utilizing porous media insert members and/or porous media surfaces for the decanting of input feeds. Exemplary decanting backwash receiver assemblies are configured and dimensioned to receive a filter backwash surge flow of slurry (e.g., solids and liquid mixture), and provide for settling of the solids from flow 11, and provide for decanting of a liquid layer above the settled solids, and optionally provide for de wetting the settled solids, and provide for discharge of the settled solids (e.g., liquid wetted) from the bottom of the assemblies.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR HARNESSING ENERGY FROM A WELLBORE TO PERFORM MULTIPLE FUNCTIONS WHILE REDUCING EMISSIONS

A separator for a gas production facility includes a vessel defining an interior chamber. The vessel is designed to operate at a pressure greater than a pressure of a fluid being produced from a wellbore, the fluid including liquid, gas, sand and debris. The separator includes an inlet through which the fluid being produced from the wellbore is directed into the vessel, an electronically controlled valve in fluid communication with a lower portion of the vessel, and an outlet through which the gas is directed out of the vessel at a pressure substantially equal to the pressure of the fluid being produced from the wellbore. The separator includes a controller programmed to open, close, or modulate the electronically controlled valve to regulate flow of the liquid, sand and debris out of the lower portion of the vessel in response to a level of the liquid detected within the interior chamber.

Automated waste water recycling system using advanced electro-coagulation unit

An automated waste water treatment system includes a collection tank constructed to hold waste water, a first flow line connected to the collection tank to output the waste water from the collection tank, an electrocoagulation unit that receives the waste water and outputs the waste water as coagulated waste water, a polymer dosage tank to provide a polymer dosage to the coagulated waste water to produce and output flocculated waste water. An air grid of the electrocoagulation unit, the latter housing a plurality of electrodes, increases the lifespan and efficiency of the electrodes to perform electrocoagulation of the waste water. A clarifier connected to the flow line receives the flocculated waste water and produces sludge-free waste water and concentrated sludge, a series of filters to output filter-treated water, and an ultrafiltration system that receives filter-treated water and outputs ultrafiltration-treated water to a reverse osmosis system.

Waste Oil Handling Apparatus

A waste oil handling apparatus features a tank with draining compartments for receiving waste oil containers in inverted and elevated positions above the tank floor. Multiple drain ports communicate with the tank interior at different elevations relative to the floor for draining accumulated contents of varying density that have gravitationally separated into distinct layers at those elevations. The ports feature adjustable fittings for adjusting the levels from which the layered contents are drawn through the ports from the tank interior. The tank has a large cleanout access by which personnel can access the tank interior for thorough cleanout. The compartments are organized into one or more troughs, each having a pivotal lid thereon. Lift brackets under the floor enable lifted transport of the tank by pallet jack or forklift.
