Electrocoagulation unit
An electrocoagulation unit that may include an outer shell, and a set of electrodes disposed within the inner housing. Each electrode is separated from an adjacent electrode by an electrode gap spacing. The outer shell may further include a fluid inlet; a fluid outlet; a first busbar opening with a first busbar gland associated therewith.
Dual screen treatment system
Vaults, boxes, systems, and methods of treatment systems to capture pollutants from storm water runoff and prevent the conveyance of these pollutants from entering a receiving water body or landscape area, which is designed to be a part of a local permanent storm water drainage infrastructure. A single treatment box, vault and system combines both drainage conveyance, multi-level treatment techniques, variable hydraulic capabilities, and easy and inexpensive methods for servicing the system. A flow spreader can split incoming water to pass into dual screen filtration systems. The system can include components selected from a shelf beneath the spreader, at least one baffle, skimmer, deflectors, media filtration and water pressure lines with spray heads for cleaning debris on a sloped floor.

Paving Element Having Drainage Channels and Pavement System Incorporating Same
A paving element includes upper and lower surfaces and one or more drainage channels extending through the paving element between the upper and lower surfaces. The drainage channels include a substantially concave or cupule shaped upper portion, provided on the upper surface of the paving element, and a channel from the concave portion through to the lower surface of the bottom surface of the paving element. The drainage channels can be complete, when provided in the interior of the paving element, or partial, when provided along the sides or perimeter of the paving element. The partial channels are completed when the paving element is placed adjacent another paving element when forming a pavement. The drainage channels are adapted to facilitate the cleaning process of the channels.

Fluid treatment apparatus including granular treatment medium
A fluid treatment apparatus and a fluid treatment apparatus component include: a treatment chamber (1) having a permeable wall (13), with a fluid outlet section being formed on the permeable wall; the treatment chamber (1) being constructed as: under a working state, the fluid entering the treatment chamber moves at least part of treatment mediums (100) in a direction opposite to the direction in which the treatment mediums tend to move under a non-working state, and the moved treatment mediums are maintained to be a medium bed layer (101) adjoined to the permeable wall.
SECONDARY TUBULAR COMPOSITE FILTER SOCK SEAM FILLING DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING SAME AND COMPOSITE FILTER SOCK ASSEMBLY INCORPORATING A SEAM FILLING DEVICE
A Composite Filter Sock Assembly includes a Compost Filter Sock and Secondary Tubular Seam Filling Device configured to be wedged beneath the compost filter sock, whereby the compost filter sock provides a pinning pressure to the Secondary Tubular Seam Filling Device and wherein the compost filter sock has a nominal diameter of 2-12 times a diameter of a tubular element of the Secondary Tubular Seam Filling Device. The Tubular Element may be least partially filled with a swell-able material such as sphagnum peat moss and may include a fastening mechanism on an exterior surface configured to facilitate coupling to a mesh tube of a compost filter sock.
Modular sand filtration-anchor system and wave energy water desalination system and methods of using potable water produced by wave energy desalination
A potable water producing system for disposition at a salt water body and methods of producing potable water are provided. The system includes a wave energy conversion system (AWECS) and a portable filtration-anchor system. The AWECS forms a floating articulated barge having a desalination system including a reverse osmosis membrane. The filtration-anchor system is submerged in the salt water body and includes a sand filter to filter the adjacent salt water for providing the filtered salt water to the desalination system on the articulated barge. Wave action on the articulated barge provides energy to pump the filtered salt water from the sand filter to the reverse osmosis member to produce potable water. The wave action on the articulated barge effects the shaking of the reverse osmosis filter, thereby rendering it self-cleaning. The potable water can be used for various applications, e.g., bottling, replenishing aquifers, ground and/or aquifer remediation, irrigation, etc.
