The system includes a portable vibration and heat generation apparatus having a flexible support platform and a bag-like enclosure extending from the support platform. A cylindrical control unit is mounted to the support platform and extends perpendicularly from the support platform. The control unit has a diameter of between 50 millimeters and 100 millimeters. The control unit houses electronic circuitry and at least one battery. Four vibration pods extend from the support platform into the bag-like structure. The bag-like structure also houses a heat generation unit. The control unit extends through a circular bore in a compression wrap. The compression wrap is securable to a body part with a distal wall of the bag-like enclosure against the body part. The system selectively applies vibration, heat or a combination of vibration and heat to the body part.
VERSATILE THERAPEUTIC EYE MASK
A versatile therapeutic eye mask includes a mask body and a strap connected at two ends of the mask body. A heating layer, a heat storage and conduction layer, and a supersoft flannel contact layer are sequentially disposed in the mask body from inside to outside. The heating layer includes a heating sheet. The heating sheet is connected to a rechargeable battery. The rechargeable battery is connected to a controller. A first side of the heat storage and conduction layer is in contact with the heating layer. A second side of the heat storage and conduction layer is in contact with the supersoft flannel contact layer. A patch temperature sensor is bonded on the first side. The patch temperature sensor is connected to the controller. The supersoft flannel contact layer is movably bonded on the mask body.
Eye mask
Eye masks and associated processes are disclosed herein. These masks and associated processes may involve positioning a mask over the eyes and nearby glands of a user and applying heat and/or moisture. This treatment may provide therapeutic benefits, including therapy of Meibomian gland disease and other sources of dry eye. Other physical benefits can also include mechanically gently holding eyelids closed and promoting relaxation and reduction of stress.
CRYOTHERAPY COMPRESSION SYSTEM
In one example, a therapy system includes a sleeve that defines an opening and has an outer surface and an inner surface. A therapeutic device is positioned so that the inner surface of the sleeve is disposed between the therapeutic device and an extremity of a user when the extremity is positioned in the opening defined by the sleeve. A manually operable tightening mechanism is provided that includes a lace connected to first and second portions of the outer surface of the sleeve and the lace is engaged with a mechanical lace tensioner that is operable to change, by either drawing the first and second portions toward each other or by allowing the first and second portions to move away from each other, a magnitude of a compressive force exerted by the sleeve on the extremity when the extremity is positioned within the opening defined by the sleeve.
Vibration and Heat Generation Apparatus for Use with Compression Wraps
A system applies compression, vibration and heat to a body part of a person. The system includes a portable vibration and heat generation apparatus (100) having a flexible support platform and a bag-like enclosure extending from the support platform. A cylindrical control unit (140) is mounted to the support platform and extends perpendicularly from the support platform. The control unit has a diameter of between 50 millimeters and 100 millimeters. The control unit houses electronic circuitry and at least one battery. Four vibration pods (120, 122, 124, 126) extend from the support platform into the bag-like structure. The bag-like structure also houses a heat generation unit (130). The control unit extends through a circular bore in a compression wrap. The compression wrap is securable to a body part with a distal wall of the bag-like enclosure against the body part.
WIRELESS ELECTRICAL STIMULATION SYSTEM
An apparatus, system and method are provided for a wireless electrical stimulation. The apparatus generally includes at least two electrical stimulation units. Each electrical stimulation unit includes electrodes connected to the unit. The apparatus also includes a receiver configured for receiving the one or more control signals from a remote controller for remotely, wirelessly controlling each of the electrical stimulation units to selectively apply a time-varying electric potential to the electrodes to provide an electrical stimulation to tissue in electrical contact with the electrodes. The apparatus generally includes a heating device.
COUPLABLE PORTABLE DEVICE FOR THE THERMAL MEDICAL TREATMENT OF SKIN
A portable device for the thermal medical treatment of skin allows a treatment attachment to be coupled to a mobile data-processing unit, preferably a smartphone or a tablet, via an interface, wherein a housing of the treatment attachment which extends over the treatment attachment is provided with a heating element directly underneath the surface facing away from the data-processing unit in the coupled state, the heating element being coupled to a temperature sensor, wherein the heating element, with the interposition of a control unit, is connected to the electrically conductive interface or, via a Bluetooth connection, to the data-processing unit in such a way that the heating element is supplied with power via one or more rechargeable batteries integrated into the data-processing unit in such a way that the heating element can be heated to a temperature predefined via the control unit.
PET HARNESS FOR MONITORING BODY TEMPERATURE AND PROVIDING COOLING OR HEATING
A harness for heating and/or cooling a wearer (e.g., a pet) of the harness includes an outer cover including a harness neck strap and a harness chest strap for securing the harness about the wearer of the harness, an internal surface having a breathable fabric material, at least one sensor attached to the harness chest strap, a thermal control device that cools or heats the wearer of the harness, a controller to activate the thermal control device, and straps arranged over an external surface of the outer cover.
Target heating method and system within a designated space
A heating system includes a sensing and tracking module to sense length in at least one dimension of an object to-be-heated in a previously determined area. A light source module has at least one light source that can change its lighting direction and can also change its beam angle e along the at least one dimension. A control module is provided for regulating light emitted by the light source module onto the to-be heated object along the at least one dimension to match with the length of the to-be-heated object based on the length sensed by the sensing and tracking module.
