Recirculating-air warming blanket
A thermal device includes an inflatable non-perforated blanket, a conduit structure, and a recirculating assembly. The inflatable non-perforated blanket is configured to transport warm air internally. The conduit structure is configured to provide conduit to transport the warm air externally to the inflatable non-perforated blanket. The recirculating assembly is configured to inflate the inflatable non-perforated blanket with the warm air and: (1) to cause the warm air to flow from the first port to the second port in a first direction, and (2) to recirculate the warm air through the conduit structure to flow from the second port to the first port in the first direction. The inflatable non-perforated blanket includes first and second sheets. The first sheet faces ambient air and has a first thermal conductivity. The second sheet faces the subject body and has a second thermal conductivity higher than the first thermal conductivity.
Weighted blanket with thermally regulated fluid
The present invention provides a weighted article for assisting sleep, wherein the weighted article includes heating and cooling means. The weighted article is perforated by a series of channels, which contribute to the weight of the weighted article and allow the passage of a fluid that is continuously pumped throughout the weighted article while the weighted article is in use. The weighted article is connected to a control unit including means to thermoelectrical heat or cool the fluid such that a user of the weighted article is able to increase or decrease their body temperature.
THERMAL ACCESSORY TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER USING GLYCOL
A thermal accessory controller for controlling the temperature of a thermal accessory. The thermal accessory controller includes a liquid reservoir for storing a glycol-based liquid, a heating component in liquid communication with the liquid reservoir for heating the glycol-based liquid, and a cooling component for cooling the glycol-based liquid. The thermal accessory controller includes an input conduit that provides a liquid path for the glycol-based liquid from the thermal accessory controller to the thermal accessory and an output conduit that provides a liquid path for the glycol-based liquid from the thermal accessory to the thermal accessory controller. The thermal accessory controller also includes a first liquid pump in liquid communication with the input conduit and the output conduit and configured to pump the glycol-based liquid through the thermal accessory, the liquid reservoir, and the heating component.
