FILTER ELEMENT WITH SELF-CONTAINED ELECTROSTATIC BUILDUP PROTECTION
One embodiment relates to a filtration system. The filtration system includes a filter housing and a filter element. The filter housing defines a central cavity. The filter element is disposed within the central cavity. The filter element includes a first endcap, a second endcap, and filter media. The second endcap is disposed axially away from the first endcap. The filter media extends axially between the first endcap and the second endcap. The filter media includes a filter media surface. A support element is in contact with the filter media. The support element is conductive. A first pole is along a surface of support element the filter media. The first pole has a first charge. A second pole is downstream of the first pole. The second pole has a second charge. The first charge is opposite in charge to the second charge.

STAR PLEATING WITH INSIDE OUT FLOW HAVING WATER DRAINAGE THROUGH THE CENTER
A filter cartridge includes an open-ended housing and filter element supported in the housing and defining an annular region between a periphery of the filter element and a side housing wall. A water collection region is between an end of the filter element and a lower-housing wall. The filter element includes pleated media surrounding an axially-extending central area, and pleats of different heights round the central area. An end plate is bonded to the filter element to prevent fluid flow through the pleats' upper ends. One passage is through a plate opening into the central area. Another passage is between the end plate and peripheral region. The filter element has freely-supported lower ends. A seal between the lower periphery of the filter element and the housing prevents fluid bypass of the filter element. Fluid passes through the pleats, and water coalesces on the media and drains into the collection region.
ENHANCED FUEL WATER SEPARATION USING STRUCTURAL EMBOSSING
A filter media, filter element, filter system and methods are provided. The filter media provides improved filter characteristics including water separation efficiency. The filter media may include one or more of increased surface roughness and/or embossments. The filter media may be provided by pleated filter media.
Hydraulic tank and method for manufacturing a hydraulic tank
The invention relates to a hydraulic tank (10) for storing a hydraulic liquid, comprising a one-piece tank housing (12) which forms a plastic hollow body and is manufactured by a rotational moulding process, wherein the tank housing (12) comprises at least one connection opening (92, 94, 126) at which is arranged a connection element (100, 110, 132) that is releasably connectable to a hydraulic conduit. In order to enable the hydraulic tank to be more cost-effective to produce, the connection element (100, 110, 132) comprises a plastic body which is manufactured by an injection moulding process and is welded together with the tank housing (12). Furthermore, a method for manufacturing a hydraulic tank (10) is proposed.

TREATMENT DEVICE FOR TREATING FLUIDS, MORE PARTICULARLY LIQUID FLUIDS, AND TREATMENT UNIT AND CONNECTION HEAD FOR A TREATMENT DEVICE
A fluid treatment device has an exchangeable treatment unit and a connection head. A bayonet-type connection device connects connection head and treatment unit to each other by a plug-in/rotation movement about a connection axis of the treatment device and is provided with a housing connection part and a head connection part that operatively engage each other to form a connection of the bayonet-type connection device. Housing connection part and head connection part each have a mutually complementary functional element extending circumferentially about the connection axis and operatively connectable to each other. The bayonet-type connection device has a pretension element for realizing a mechanical pretension pressing the functional elements against each other. A splash guard part is provided that covers at least the connection device.
