Embodiments of this application relate to the field of lithium battery production technologies and disclose a slurry filtering apparatus and a coating system. The slurry filtering apparatus may include a rotating filter element and a gravity filter. The gravity filter may be provided with a feed port and a first discharge port. A height of the feed port on the gravity filter may be greater than that of the first discharge port on the gravity filter. The rotating filter may be connected to the feed port and is configured to provide a positive-pressure filtered slurry to the gravity filter. The first discharge port may be configured to convey a slurry filtered by the gravity filter to a coating apparatus.

A screen filter for wastewater applications includes a chain tensioning system. The chain tensioning system provides a tensioning force for a screen filter chain. The chain tensioning system includes a chain adjuster device configured to tension the screen filter chain. The chain tensioning system additionally includes a sensor configured to provide a signal representative of a load applied by the chain adjuster; wherein the chain adjuster device is configured to apply a force in a direction that tensions the chain and wherein the signal provided by the sensor is representative of the force.

A peptide synthesis instrument can be used for small scale peptide synthesis. The instrument can include several unique features, including a compression style reaction vessel permitting quick setup of the reaction vessel, a double reaction vessel system permitting efficient mixing without loss of solvent or solvent-to-resin contact, gravity-fed heated reservoirs establishing a fixed volume for delivery to the reaction vessel, fume-free solvent addition permitting solvent addition to fixed bottles, and an improved amino acid manifold assembly which reduces the number of components and increases the ease of use of the instrument. Each of these features improve upon the current state of the art in solid phase automated peptide synthesizers.

The structures disclosed include: a stormwater insert container for installation within a storm drain designed for intake of high volumes of water; an angling filter plug mounting structure and pre-filter basket for a flush installation on a planar floor, such that the filtration media rests beneath the floor and releases filtered liquids into a drainage area; a trench filtration assembly for installation into a trench below surface level, such that the unfiltered liquid passes through the trench and a trench box disposed within the trench filtration assembly prior to passing through the filtration media into a drainage area; and a liner box assembly for installation over an opening made in a non-permeable liner for purposes of pre-filtering contaminated liquids as it flows through the liner box and subsequently the filtration media.

The passage includes a first passage having a first passage sectional area that increases from the inlet toward the filter on an upstream side of the filter, and a second passage having a second passage sectional area that is uniform from the first passage toward the filter. A filtration device that includes: a passage member defining a passage including an inlet and an outlet; and a filter disposed in the passage between the inlet and the outlet. The inlet has an inlet passage sectional area. The passage includes a first passage having a first passage sectional area that increases from the inlet toward the filter on an upstream side of the filter, and a second passage having a second passage sectional area that is uniform from the first passage toward the filter. The second passage sectional area is greater than the first passage sectional area, and a second passage length of the second passage is greater than a first passage length of the first passage.

A liquid dispenser may include a container having an upper opening, a pump provided in the container, a pipe through which liquid discharged from the pump is transferred, a top plate having an upper surface over which liquid flows, a filter assembly provided below the top plate, a base provided below the container, and a thermoelectric element provided in the base to cool the liquid in the container.

A urinary stone collecting device comprising: a filter part having a concave face and an opposite convex face, and a multiplicity of holes forming a filter, a lid part connected to the filter part by a hinge, so as to be movable between a deployed position where it acts as a handle, and a closed position where it covers the concave face of the filter part and encloses a volume between the filter and lid parts, in order to retain urinary stones collected by the filter, and a locking device for the filter and lid parts in the closed position.
