Bar screen filter apparatus and method

An apparatus for removing debris from water in a channel includes a bar screen assembly having a plurality of spaced apart, elongated filter bars arranged in a parallel relationship. A continuous conveyor carries a plurality of rakes. Each rake includes a plurality of spaced-apart tines interdigitated with the filter bars as the rake is moved along the filter bars by the conveyor to remove debris from the bar screen assembly. A conveyor belt retaining system includes at least one guide engaging an upstream side of an inner run of the conveyor and a counterweight connected to the at least one guide for biasing the inner run in a downstream direction.

A downspout drain filter includes a housing and a filter media. The housing defines an internal cavity, an inlet to the internal cavity along a top of the housing, and an outlet from the internal cavity along a bottom of the housing. The filter media is disposed within the internal cavity. The filter media divides the internal cavity into an upper chamber and a lower chamber. The filter media is configured to trap debris in the upper chamber from fluid flowing downward through the internal cavity. The filter media is permeable such that the fluid flows from the upper chamber to the lower chamber.

Liquid supply device and liquid supply method

A liquid supply device includes: a storage tank configured to store a processing liquid including a first processing liquid (sulfuric acid) and a second processing liquid (hydrogen peroxide solution); a circulation path having a first pipeline through which the processing liquid passes in a horizontal direction, and configured to circulate the processing liquid stored in the storage tank; a branch path configured to supply the processing liquid to a processing unit; and a branching part having an opening for allowing the processing liquid to flow out from the first pipeline to the branch path, wherein the opening is formed in the branching part and formed below a periphery of the first pipeline when the first pipeline is viewed in section.

SUPPORT GRID ASSEMBLY FOR PRESSURE VESSEL

A support grid assembly for use in a pressure vessel includes one or more screen panel assemblies that are flexibly, fluidly coupled to a central fluid manifold. Each screen panel assembly is operably slidably inserted into a central fluid manifold, whereby a flexible connection fluidly individually seals each screen panel assembly to the central fluid manifold. Through the use of a flexible connection, each screen panel assembly can individually slide, rotate or otherwise shift relative to the central fluid manifold and into engagement with a vessel floor regardless of inconsistencies in the vessel floor.

A fluid collection container includes a self-supporting, collapsible bag with a threaded cylindrical inlet ring or spout and a strainer removably seated within the ring. The strainer can separate a macroscopic solid object from a viscous liquid. The fluid collection container includes a rectangular prismatic box with the spout extending through and a threaded cap removably coupled to the spout. A method of draining automotive oil includes positioning the bag beneath an oil pan of an automobile, removing an oil plug from the automotive oil pan and allowing the oil plug to fall into the strainer; draining the automotive oil through the strainer into the bag; removing an oil filter from the automobile; removing the strainer from the inlet; inserting the oil filter; and screwing a threaded the cap onto the inlet.
