SAMPLE COLLECTING DEVICE AND SAMPLE COLLECTING APPARATUS
The present application provides a sample collecting device and a sample collecting apparatus. The sample collecting device includes a housing assembly with a cavity and a filtering unit disposed in the cavity, where the housing assembly is provided with a collecting hole and a suction hole, both of which are communicated with the cavity, the suction hole is communicated with the collecting hole through the filtering unit, the housing assembly is provided with a gateway on its side wall, and at least part of the filtering unit is configured to be moved to an outside of the housing assembly through the gateway. The present application can greatly improve efficiency of sample collection and effectively save the time of medical workers.
POWER UNIT FOR VEHICLE
A power unit including an internal combustion engine has an electric power generator mounted on an end of a crankshaft, a power transmitting member mounted on the other end of the crankshaft, and a lubricant oil filter. The oil filter partly overlaps the electric power generator as viewed in the direction of a crankshaft axis, and is positioned between the electric power generator and a crank weight on the crankshaft with respect to the direction of the crankshaft axis. The oil filter has a filter mount axis forming an acute angle to the crankshaft axis. The engine crankcase is thus prevented from bulging outwardly, and the power unit is reduced in size in its entirety.

Helically wrapped filter
A filter cartridge is provided for filtering particulates in fluid and gas streams. The filter cartridge has a filter element for filtering the streams and a helical wrap to give stability to the pleats in response to radially outward flow. The wrap has an outer layer for attaching to the filter element and an inner layer for strength and resisting pressure drops across the filter element.
Field water purification system filter
A field water purification system filter is described. The filter includes a water tight enclosure formed between two layers of a polymeric material, an inlet and an outlet are coupled to the water tight enclosure. A filter envelope including a quantity of filter media is inside the water tight enclosure. The water filter having a minimal thickness when not filled with water. The filter envelope is formed by a first set of bonded segments of the two layers of polymeric material. The filter can also include an outer channel having a first side formed by the water tight enclosure and a second side opposite from the first side. The second side can include a second set of bonded segments of the two layers of polymeric material interspersed with a set of nonbonded segments, the nonbonded segments defining openings in an intermittent barrier between the outer channel and the filter media.

Filtration support geometry and membrane
A filtering element for the filtration of a fluid medium comprises a rigid porous support of cylindrical shape having a longitudinal central axis (A) and a plurality of channels for the circulation of the fluid medium to be filtered and collection of filtrate on the periphery of the support. The channels are arranged in the support parallel to its central axis central (A) and define at least three filtering zones which are distributed concentrically and separated from each other by a continuous porous zone. The mean thickness of the porous zone (Z.sub.1) closest to the central axis (A) is smaller than the mean thickness of the porous zone (Z.sub.n-1) the closest to the periphery of the support (1) and, in the direction moving away from the central axis (A) of the support towards its periphery, the mean thickness of a porous zone is either identical to the next or smaller.
SEDIMENT FILTRATION DEVICE, METHOD AND SYSTEM
A filtration system having a malleable compartment and a handle. The malleable compartment has a permeable fabric forming an exterior of the malleable compartment. The exterior at least partially faces a contaminated fluid. The permeable fabric has a pore size that defines the permeability of the fabric. The malleable compartment also has an interior that holds an interchangeable microfiltration medium. The microfiltration medium has a pore size that is smaller than the pore size of the permeable fabric. The filtration system also included a handle that is affixed to the malleable compartment.
