COVER FOR FILTER CARTRIDGE
A cover for a filter cartridge includes: a head including a first raw water inflow flow path into which raw water is introduced, a first purified water discharge flow path on which purified water of the raw water purified via the filter cartridge is discharged, and a first drain discharge flow path that does not communicate with each of the first raw water inflow flow path and the first purified water discharge flow path; and a cap including a second raw water inflow flow path that communicates with the first raw water inflow flow path, a second purified water discharge flow path on which purified water of the raw water introduced into the second raw water inflow flow path and purified via the filter cartridge flows, and a second drain discharge flow path on which waste water separated from the raw water during purification flows.
Reduced Drip Filter Removal Tool
This invention is directed to a filter removal tool comprising: a cup configured to engage with a filter so that rotating the cup rotates the filter; an opening in a shaft or cup and extending through the cup so that when a puncture cap that can be received into the cup punctures the filter, fluid flows from the filter out of the cup. The shaft can transition from a first position to a second position wherein the puncture cap can puncture the filter in the second position. A wrench or other tool can be used to remove the filter using the cup. The cup can be secured to the filter with a magnet or collet assembly. A tube can be connected to the cup to direct fluid that exits the filter. An impact member can be used to force the puncture cap into the filter.
Non-discharge backwash filter system
A pool filter system comprising a plurality of filtration chambers configured to filter pool water, a water supply inlet, a water return line, and a control valve. The water supply inlet is configured to receive unfiltered water from a pool of water. The water return line is configured to return filtered water to the pool of water. The control valve receives water from the water supply inlet. The control valve has a backwash nozzle configured to rotate and sequentially align with each of the plurality of filtration chambers. The backwash nozzle has a first position aligned with a first filtration chamber and a second position aligned with a second filtration chamber. The control valve is configured to backwash water through the first filtration chamber when the backwash nozzle is in the first position and through the second filtration chamber when the backwash nozzle is in the second position.
Non-discharge backwash filter system
A method for simultaneous filtration and non-discharge backwash operation of a pool filter. Water is received from a pool of water and passed to a control valve having a backwash nozzle aligned with a first filtration chamber. The water is forced down through all of the filtration chambers except the first filtration chamber and forced up through the first filtration chamber. The backwash nozzle is aligned with a second filtration chamber. The water is forced down through all of the filtration chambers except the second filtration chamber and forced up through the second filtration chamber. The water is passed through the backwash nozzle and an internal backwash valve to a sedimentation collection and separation system, where sediment is settled out of the water and the water is filtered through a final filtration media within the final filtration chamber. The water is returned to the pool of water.
Hybrid intake screen assembly
An intake screen assembly including an intake member, a screen support member, and a screen member coupled to the screen support member. The screen member may be formed from a material, such as copper-nickel, that is different from a material, such as stainless steel, used to form the intake member and/or the screen support member. The intake screen assembly may include corrosion protection members for preventing contact between the components of the screen assembly that are formed from dissimilar materials. The assembly may be formed by coupling the screen support member to the intake member, and coupling the screen member to the screen support member.
APPARATUS FOR STORING ORGANIC MATERIAL
There is disclosed an apparatus for storing organic materials, the apparatus including: a body having an opening for receiving the organic materials to be stored; an outlet formed in the body through which the organic materials are unloaded from the body; a cooling fluid circuit for circulating cooling fluid through the organic material collected by the hopper.
Filter device
A filter device that facilitates maintenance is provided. A case that internally includes a filter element includes a lid body. The lid body includes a flange portion having a substantially cylindrical shape fixed to the case and a cover having a substantially plate shape detachably provided to the flange portion. The flange portion has a first hole, and the cover has a second hole. The first hole and the second hole communicate between a space inside the case and a space outside the case.
FILTER WITH INTERCONNECTED HOLLOW ELEMENTS AND METHOD OF USE
Filters comprising at least one filter arm comprising a plurality of hollow elements in fluid communication with each other, the hollow elements having porous walls, the at least one filter arm having a first end and a second end; and, a hollow base having a side wall, and a base outlet port, wherein the hollow base is in fluid communication with the at least one filter arm, wherein the second end of the at least one filter arm is connected to the hollow base; filter devices including the filters, and methods of using the filters, are disclosed.
BRANCHED FILTER AND METHOD OF USE
Filters (including curved filters) and filter arrangements comprising a plurality of filter arms, each arm comprising a hollow tube, each hollow tube having a first end and a second end, and a tube inner fluid channel having an inner diameter; the filter further including a first tube connector, comprising a first hollow body having a first hollow body inner diameter, connected to, and in fluid communication with, the hollow tubes, wherein the first hollow body inner diameter is greater than the tube inner fluid channel inner diameters, and filter devices including filters and filter arrangements, and methods of use are disclosed.
FILTER WITH INTERCONNECTED HOLLOW ELEMENTS AND METHOD OF USE
Filters comprising a filter arm comprising a plurality of hollow elements in fluid communication with each other, the hollow elements having porous walls, the filter arm having a first and a second end; a hollow transition element comprising a collector having a side wall, a central cavity, an upper closed end and a lower open end; and a hollow transition element arm having a first and a second transition arm end, and a porous side wall; wherein the first transition arm end is in fluid communication with the second end of the filter arm; and the second transition arm is connected to the side wall of the collector, and is in fluid communication with the central cavity of the collector; and, a hollow base having a side wall, and a base outlet port, wherein the hollow base connected to, and in fluid communication with, the collector; filter devices including the filters, and methods of filtration using the filters, are disclosed.
