FILTER CARTRIDGE AND/OR MULTIPLE-DIAMETER MULTIPLE STAGE FILTER COALESCER SEPARATOR
A filter cartridge with easier extraction provided by a roll-out clearance region for a radial seal is provided. The filter cartridge may be a two stage filter with the seal being located between stages and usable in a filtration vessel having a central separation wall with one or more riser pipes. Also, a new vessel is disclosed with multiple diameters for first and second stages of the housing with a larger second stage diameter as compared to the first stage, which can reduce door size and/or cause fluid flow velocities to be slower at the second stage relative to the first stage.
WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM
A water treatment system having a base assembly and a treatment assembly. The treatment assembly of the system may be configured to filter particulates from water. The base assembly may include a UV reactor operable to disinfect water for consumption.
WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM

FLUID PUMPING APPARATUS AND METHODS OF USE
Apparatus and methodologies are provided for pumping fluids from a body of fluids. Herein, an apparatus operably connected to at least one pump for pumping fluids from a body of fluids is provided, the apparatus having a pump hose with a first intake end for receiving the pumped fluids and a second outlet end operably connected to the pump, a pump intake assembly, fluidically connected to the intake end of the pump hose, the pump intake assembly having at least one fluid control valve, a rotatable filter cage, centrally disposed about the pump intake assembly, and at least one fluid injection pipe centrally disposed within the pump hose for supporting the at least one fluid control valve, and for injecting fluids to drive the rotation of the rotatable filter cage. Herein, methods of utilizing the fluid pumping apparatus are provided.
Filtration system with automatic drain plug
A filtration system includes a housing and a filter element positioned within the housing. The housing includes a first housing end and a second housing end. A drain opening is defined in the second housing end. The filter element includes a first endplate and a second endplate defining an endplate opening. Filter media is positioned between and extending axially between the first endplate and the second endplate. The filter media defines a central opening extending axially therein. A drain plug axially protrudes from the second endplate in a direction away from the filter media. The drain plug is configured to engage the drain opening and facilitate installation of the filter element into the housing. A lid is configured to engage the first housing end. The engagement between the lid and the first housing end occurs when the drain plug is disposed within the drain opening.
Fuel filter with additive release device
The fuel filter (1) contains a filter element (4) and an additive tank (13) in a housing (2, 3). The filter element is engaged against the removable cover (3) of the housing and has a filter medium (5) extending in an annular manner around an inner space (9). An additive release device (32) extends into this inner space (9) to distribute liquid additive from the tank (13) into a fuel circulation circuit for an internal combustion engine. The additive selectively flows into a sealed distribution channel (DC) of the device (32) depending on an open or closed configuration of an actuator component (62) associated with the distribution channel. The distribution channel (DC) opens into a fuel channel (52) of the cover (3) that has a larger cross-section than the distribution channel (DC).
WATER PURIFICATION AND DISINFECTION DEVICE
A water purification and disinfection device is provided, including a cartridge cover, a filter cartridge, and an electrolytic unit. An inlet pipeline, an outlet pipeline, and an electrolytic unit fixing element are provided on the cartridge cover. The electrolytic unit fixing element has a mounting chamber, and a top of the electrolytic unit fixing element is provided with an electric connecting element. The filter cartridge is detachably connected to the cartridge cover, and the filter cartridge being provided with a to-be-filtered zone, a filtration core, and a filtered zone. The electrolytic unit is detachably mounted in the mounting chamber. A water inlet of the electrolytic unit is communicated with the filtered zone. A water outlet of the electrolytic unit is connected to the outlet pipeline, and an electric connecting pin of the electrolytic unit penetrates through the mounting chamber and is connected to the electric connecting element.
FILTER SYSTEMS, ELEMENTS AND METHODS WITH SHORT-RANGE WIRELESS TRACKING FEATURES
Aspects herein include filter systems including short-range wireless tracking features to detect insertion and/or removal of filter elements from filter systems. In an embodiment, a filtration system is included having a housing including a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. The housing can define an internal volume. A first filter element can be removably disposed within the housing. A short-range wireless communication tag can be associated with the first filter element. A short-range wireless communication reader can be associated with the housing, the reader configured to wirelessly send data to and receive data from the tag when the reader and the tag are at a distance that is less than or equal to a maximum communication distance. Removal of the first filter element from the housing can cause the distance between the tag and the reader to exceed the maximum communication distance. Other embodiments are also included herein.
FILTER LEAK PATH PREVENTION VIA INTERFERENCE PIN
A replacement filter element having a removable pin attached to the filter elements is described. The removable pin is attached to the filter element via a first interference fit. When the replacement filter element is installed into a filtration system having a drain valve with an internal draft, the removable pin seals onto the drain valve and forms a second interference fit between the drain valve and the pin. The pin seals an opening in the drain valve. The second interference fit is stronger than the first interference. Accordingly, when the replacement filter element is removed from the filter housing (e.g., during a service event of the replacement filter element), the pin detaches from the replacement filter element and remains positioned within the drain valve thereby preventing fluid from leaking from the housing when the filter element is removed. The pin permanently plugs the drain valve once installed.
COVER FOR OIL FILTER HOUSING OF AN INTEGRATED DRIVE GENERATOR
A cover for an oil filter housing is disclosed comprising an elongated body defining an upper end portion and an lower end portion, and having a central axis extending therethrough, which delineates an axial length of the body, wherein an axial bore extends through the body of the cover from the lower end portion thereof to an interior end wall in the upper end portion thereof for accommodating an axial portion of an oil filter located within the housing, the axial bore of the body having an axial length that is about 90% to about 94% of the axial length of the body.
