FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY
A fuel filter includes a manifold, a connector element, a filter bowl, a filter element, an inlet shutoff valve, an outlet shutoff valve, an inlet port, an inlet conduit, an outlet port, an outlet conduit and a relief valve. The connector element is fixed to the manifold and the filter bowl is reversibly fixed to the connector element. The connector element engages with the filter element. The filter bowl reversibly receives the filter element and is configured so that when the filter element is located within the filter bowl and the filter bowl is attached to the connection element the filter element divides the space defined by the connector element and filter bowl into an inlet filter chamber and an outlet filter chamber. The inlet port is incorporated in the manifold, and the inlet port and inlet filter chamber are in fluid communication via the inlet conduit.
FILTER APPARATUS WITH VENTED CORE
Described are liquid filter apparatuses that include a housing, an interior within the housing, a cartridge assembly (otherwise known as a “filter cartridge”) contained within the housing, and a vent that allows gaseous fluid from an interior of the housing to be released to an exterior of the housing, as well as related methods.
FILTER AND METHOD FOR FILTERING A LIQUID
An oil filter assembly is disclosed for a machine, such as an internal combustion engine, that has an oil output port and an oil input port. A mounting plate is fixed with an outer enclosure. The mounting plate is further adapted to conduct oil from the machine into a peripheral portion of the outer enclosure, and then returning oil from a central portion of the outer enclosure back to the machine. Oil may pass from the peripheral portion to the central portion through a primary filter having a first porosity. A pressure-actuated valve is fixed fluidly between the portions of the outer enclosure.

Filter device
A filter device has a filter housing (1) having a fluid inlet (8) for unfiltered matter and having a fluid outlet (9) for filtrate, and has at least one one-piece or multi-part filter insert (15, 17) held in the filter housing (1). Filter insert (15, 17) can be cleaned using a backwash device (25) having at least one backwash element (31) in counter flow to the direction of filtration. The backwash element can be moved along the inside of the relevant filter insert (15, 17) by a fluid-conveying drive shaft (29) of a rotary drive (69, 71). The individual backwash element (31) has, at the end adjacent to this inside, at least one gap-shaped passage opening, which extends in parallel to the axis of rotation of the drive shaft (29) and which opens into a flow chamber connected to the drive shaft (29) in a fluid-conveying manner. At least one further backwash device (27) has a further backwash element (31). The fluid-conveying drive shaft (29) is divided into chambers (73, 75) separated from each other. One backwash element (31) of one backwash device (25) is connected to one of the chambers (73, 75). The other backwash element (31) of the other backwash device (27) is connected to another chamber (73, 75).
Filter element
A filter element (2) is disclosed which comprises a filtration media (4) and an end fitting (6) through which a sealing connection is made between the filter element and a housing (100) so that, when the sealing connection is made, the end fitting defines in part a flow path for fluid between the housing and the filter element. The end fitting includes an annular seal (36′) made from a compressible material which extends around the periphery of the filter element, and a support (30, 31, 32, 34) for the annular seal which can be expanded outwardly to cause the transverse dimension of the seal to increase so that the seal is urged into contact with an inner wall of a housing (100) in which the filter element is located.
Water purification filter
Proposed is a water filter, including filter segments provided by dividing the filter into two or more sections composed of materials or densities that are same or different from each other, and a connection cap mounted between the filter segments, wherein the connection cap communicates with a filter flow path of an anterior filter segment, is closed to a filter flow path of a posterior filter segment, is provided with a closing part at a location between the anterior filter segment and a filter casing, and is provided with a connection cap flow path between the posterior filter segment and the filter casing, thereby allowing the water purified primarily by the anterior filter segment to be drained into the connection cap flow path and then to be discharged through the filter flow path of the posterior filter segment after being processed through a secondary water purification process.
FILTERING SYSTEM
Disclosed is a filtering system used in any pool filtrations, filtration of taps or building entrance hot and cold use water, filtration of city water before osmosis filtering devices, filtration of heating and cooling mechanical plant systems, and filtration of cooling water in hydro-electric power plants. The system provides for forming a vortex inside a filter by directing and increasing speed of filtered liquid and thus providing decreasing pressure on the filter surface and collection of filtered particulates in a particulate accumulation chamber. The system also provides for automatic cleaning of the filter by reverse flushing, without the need for dismantling, by differential pressure sensors based on rate of contamination.
