Water-in-fuel sensor with cavity for detection at grade
A system comprising a drain for a fuel-water separator (FWS) assembly and a sensor is disclosed. The sensor may include a sensing element that is attached to the drain, wherein, when the drain engages the FWS assembly, a cavity is formed by an endcap at least partially within the FWS assembly and by at least one of the drain or the sensor, wherein the sensing element is exposed within the cavity, wherein a first side of the cavity is at least partially open, and wherein a second side of the cavity is formed by at least one of the drain or the sensor, wherein the cavity is configured to receive fluid through the first side and collect the fluid in the cavity to trigger the sensing element. Numerous other aspects and systems are disclosed.
FILTER APPARATUS AND/OR METHOD
A filter apparatus is used for at least partially removing dirt from a pressurized liquid flow passing therethrough. The filter apparatus includes a harvesting utility for harvesting electrical energy from the liquid flow, and at least part of the harvested electrical energy can be used for powering a cleaning mechanism of the apparatus that periodically cleans the filter apparatus.
ALERT-ENABLED SKIMMER BASKET
A skimmer basket assembly has an basket, a circular platform with a magnetically permeable ring supported on a spring, a guide tube having a lowermost end of the guide tube positioned above an uppermost position of the circular platform, and a flag assembly within the guide tube, the flag assembly having a central stem, a flag at an uppermost end, a magnetic tip at a lowermost end, and a float. With the skimmer basket in a housing, with water flowing through, and the circular platform at an uppermost position, the flag assembly is held to the ring, and, with debris collected in the basket, increased force compresses the spring, separating the flag assembly, allowing the flag mechanism to float upward as an alert that there is debris in the skimmer basket.
HIGH EFFICIENCY DENTAL CHAIR-SIDE TRAP INSERT
Provided in this disclosure is a dental filter including a chair-side trap for receiving particles removed from a patient during a dental procedure. The chair-side trap includes a basin for collecting the particles from the patient. The dental filter additionally includes a filter insert sized to be received and retained in the chair-side trap, for preventing the particles to flow outside the chair-side trap. The filter insert is a fabric material including a fine micron cloth that captures particles greater than 5 microns. The filter insert also includes sealed edges around the circumference of the filter insert, where the sealed edges are formed by fusing the fabric material.
OIL FILTER
An oil filter assembly is disclosed for a machine, such as an internal combustion engine, that has an oil output port and an oil input port. A mounting plate may be fixed with an outer enclosure and may be adapted for securing to the machine. The mounting plate may be further adapted to conduct oil from the machine into a peripheral portion of the outer enclosure, and then returning oil from a central portion of the outer enclosure back to the machine. Oil may pass from the peripheral portion to the central portion through a primary filter having a first porosity. A pressure-actuated valve may be fixed fluidly between the peripheral portion and central portion of the outer enclosure. Oil may pass through the pressure-actuated valve only when an oil pressure differential between the peripheral portion and the central portion of the outer enclosure exceeds a predetermined threshold pressure. A secondary filter may have a second porosity greater than the first porosity, and may be fixed fluidly between the pressure-actuated valve and the central portion of the outer enclosure.
VISIBLE, REMOVABLE FILTER FOR WATER TOOLS
A hose connector (100) for water filtering includes a connector port (102) adapted to receive water at an inlet (104). The hose connector (100) includes an outlet (106) to allow water to leave the connector port (102). The hose connector (100) includes a filter (110) coupled to the connector port (102) at the inlet (104). The hose connector (100) is characterized in that the filter (110) is adapted to be inserted inside the inlet (104). The hose connector (100) includes at least one recess (112). The filter (110) has a first end (302) and a second end (304). Further, the filter (110) includes a flange portion (306) towards the first end (302), such that the flange portion (306) has at least one protrusion (308) adapted to engage the at least one recess (112).
Magnetic strainer
The present invention relates to a magnetic strainer that is configured to have a cap disposed in a filter insertion hole formed on the center of a branch pipe having an inlet and an outlet coupled to a pipe and to have upper and lower magnets arranged with repulsive forces, while placing a repulsive space therebetween, in such a manner as to be accommodated in both ends of a magnet case in a longitudinal direction of the magnet case to allow conductors in impurities to be easily collected to the inside of a filtering screen disposed between the filter insertion hole and the cap to filter the impurities, so that if ascending and descending means disposed under the magnet case operates, the upper magnet is descended to the repulsive space to easily remove the conductors collected on the top end surface of the magnet case.
Filter assembly including flow cap
A filter assembly may include a canister and a filter element received in the canister. The filter element may include filter media configured to promote separation of a first fluid from a second fluid having different characteristics than the first fluid as fluid passes through the filter media. The filter element may further include a first end cap, a second end cap, and a tubular member extending between the first and second end caps. The filter assembly may further include a flow cap associated with the first end cap of the filter element. The flow cap may include an inlet portion configured to provide flow communication between an inlet port of a filter base and the tubular member of the filter element, and an outlet portion configured to provide flow communication between an outlet port of the filter base and an exterior portion of the filter element.
