INSTALLATION FOR EXTRACTING HEAT AND/OR FOR PROCESSING PROCESS LIQUID
20210252522 · 2021-08-19 ·

The disclosure relates to an installation for processing and/or using process liquid, comprising at least one first installation section which comprises at least one heat exchanger for heating the process liquid. The heated process liquid can be guided directly or indirectly to a second installation section for processing and/or use. The invention is directed to the problem of providing an installation by means of which the wear and tear of comminution mechanisms, in particular for frozen, cold or tough biomass, can be reduced in a cost-effective and environmentally friendly manner. The installation is characterized in that the second installation section comprises at least one washing, soaking and/or thawing booth device for treating biomass using the warm process liquid.

Padded grate drainage system for water rides

A padded grating system comprising sheets of multiple composite members secured together with multiple support bars or battens, wherein each composite member preferably consists of an elongated rigid bar with a foam layer adhered thereto which are encapsulated by a PVC or plastic water impervious tube or sleeve that has been heated and shrunk thereon. The sheets are specifically designed to be used in connection with water rides such as the FlowRider® and can be modularly installed on site to cover certain drainage areas. The composite members are preferably made by gluing the rigid bars onto a sheet of foam and cutting the foam sheet to form the composite members, and after the tube or sleeve has been heat shrunk around each one, the ends of the composite members are then cut and sealed.

Logic that is used in water bar screen assemblies to control the flow of water through the assembly.

Arrangement and method for separating out and removing screenings from wastewater

An apparatus for separating out and removing screenings from wastewater includes a screening device having a screen surface through which the wastewater flows during operation of the screening device and screenings carried along in the wastewater are at least intermittently retained. The apparatus includes a sensor and a controller. The sensor monitors the screenings in the area upstream from the screen surface and/or in the area of the screen surface. The controller outputs a message when the screenings have one or several properties which have been defined and have been recognized by the sensor. In addition, a method for operating the apparatus and a system including the apparatus are provided.

Lift station maintenance device

A lift station maintenance device having as its essential features, a circular housing constructed from bars, interleaving self-centering augers for lifting flushable wipes through the system, spring snap options for retaining the bar in slots in top and base plates, and capability to remove large flushable wipes or equivalent materials from liquid sewage systems without clogging. Also disclosed is a lift station maintenance system.

SEPARATION DEVICE AND SEPARATION METHOD

A separation device includes: a container that includes a storage portion for storing liquid containing magnetic particles; and a coil that separates the magnetic particles from the liquid by generating a magnetic field through application of current, causing a magnetic force to act on the magnetic particles in a state where the coil stops with respect to the storage portion, and causing the magnetic particles to move from the storage portion against gravity acting on the liquid containing the magnetic particles.

Bar screen filter apparatus and method

Apparatus for removing debris from channeled water that includes a bar screen assembly. The assembly includes a plurality of spaced apart screen bars, each bar having an upstream edge and a downstream edge and distal ends to which U-shaped clips are attached. Each of the clips has a bar engaging portion and a cross member engaging portion that attaches to an associated cross member. The clips operate to space the trailing edge of the screen bars a predetermined distance from associated cross members and allow easy replacement of a bar. A continuous conveyor carries a plurality of rakes having a plurality of spaced apart tines which are adapted to fit between the screen bars as the rake is moved along the bars by the conveyor. The tines of the rake have a length that substantially spans the distance between the leading edge and trailing edge of a bar, so that tips of the rake tines extend to at least the trailing edge of an associated bar. Intermediate clips may be used to support the intermediate section of the screen bars.

A drainage pipe un-dissolved waste catch assembly includes a panel that has a rear edge, a front edge, a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, a top side and a bottom side. The panel has a plurality of apertures therein extending into the top side and through the bottom side. A plate is attached to and extends along the front edge and forms a angle with the top side is between 120 and 150. A coupler is attached to the top side of the panel adjacent to the rear edge and releasably engages a discharge tube such that the panel is positioned below and extends forward of the discharge tube. As waste water flows outwardly of the discharge tube, any un-dissolved materials therein will be retained on the panel.

An anti-vibration arrangement for a condensate pump comprising a housing having a first opening; a pump motor contained within the housing having a pump motor inlet in fluid communication with a pump motor outlet; and a resiliently deformable collar secured within the first opening having an aperture through which the pump motor inlet projects. The resiliently deformable collar comprises an outer portion secured to the housing, an inner portion to support the pump motor inlet and a connecting portion located between the outer portion and the inner portion, such that oscillations of the pump motor cause the connecting portion to deform and allow the inner portion to move in reciprocating manner.
