Archimedes screw separation plant for treating slurry
An Archimedes screw plant for separating slurry includes a tubular sifting device; a slurry feeding device; a device for evacuating the liquid fraction; and a device for evacuating the substantially dry separated solid. The device includes an upper compaction chamber of the separated solid where a solid plug of product is formed. In addition, the tubular sifting device has an upper opening being provided with an auxiliary contrast element for forming the solid plug of product.
System for reducing product losses, product dilution, chemical dilution and water consumption in a crossflow membrane separation system
The system and method of the present application improves the efficiency of systems utilizing spiral membranes but can also be applied to systems using other types of membranes. The membrane vessels and membranes are configured in a vertical orientation and a clear path is provided for the removal of product and cleaning chemicals on the retentate and permeate sides of the membrane with hide or no dilution.

HOLLOW CYLINDRICAL FILTER, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD
A hollow cylindrical filter includes an inner cylindrical body 31 including a first wire rod layer L1 located on the innermost circumference and being wound with two or more layers of the metallic wire rod, and an outer cylindrical body 32 located immediately on the outer circumferential side of the inner cylindrical body and wound with the metallic wire rod. After the inner cylindrical body is formed, a start end portion 20a of the metallic wire rod is folded to be positioned on an outer circumferential side of the inner cylindrical body, and is further wound with the metallic wire rod to form the outer cylindrical body, whereby the start end portion of the metallic wire rod is folded and placed between the inner cylindrical body and the outer cylindrical body.
