FILTER APPARATUS AND CLOTHES TREATING APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME
A filter apparatus positionable outside a washing machine and connectable to a drain device of the washing machine, the filter apparatus including a filter case including a case inlet a case outlet; a filter detachably installable inside the filter case, the filter through which water flowing from the case inlet to the case outlet passes; a sensor to detect water entered into the filter apparatus from the drain device and to produce a corresponding signal; and a filter cleaning device to clean the filter in accordance with the signal produced by the sensor.
Modular filter assembly
A fluid filter assembly that is defined by a head portion, a base portion, and a filter tube housing that is captured therebetween. Each head portion includes more than one fluid inlet and more than one fluid outlet that are oriented relative to the respective head portion such that a plurality of fluid filter assemblies can be fluidly connected to one another to provide a desired degree of filtration of the fluid passed therethrough and such that the fluid filter assemblies can be oriented in a plurality of orientations relative to one another to provide a desired configuration of the fluid filter assembly.
FILTER INSERT FOR INSERTION INTO A FILTER HOUSING
The invention relates to a filter insert for insertion into a filter housing of a fluid filter, comprising a filter material, which is designed to be flowed through by a fluid to be filtered during operation of the fluid filter from a raw side to a pure side of the fluid filter, and to a floatable radio module, which is designed to float on a water quantity located in a water collection area of the fluid filter during operation of the fluid filter.
Systems and methods for screening
A screening system for solid removal includes a housing and a screen positioned within the housing. A flow inlet is operatively connected to an interior chamber defined by the screen. A sump is downstream from the flow inlet for capturing solids that do not pass through the screen. A flow outlet is downstream from the screen in fluid communication with the flow inlet. A moveable cleaning assembly may be positioned either within a perimeter of the screen, around the perimeter of the screen or both. The moveable cleaning assembly is moveable with respect to the screen.
Drainage passage including filter and washing machine having the same
A washing machine including a tub disposed inside a main body, a drainage pump configured to cause the received water inside the tub to flow to an outside of the washing machine through a drainage passage, a first filter, arrangeable along the drainage passage, to filter out foreign matter equal to or greater than predetermined size from the water, and a second filter, arrangeable along the drainage passage, to filter out foreign matter smaller than the predetermined size from the water. The drainage passage includes a first connecting hose to guide the water to flow from the tub to the first filter, a second connecting hose to guide the water to flow from the first filter to the second filter, and a drainage hose to guide the water to be discharged from the second filter to the outside of the washing machine.
Filter pan detection and fluid sensor system
A capacitive sensor and control system is configured to detect the presence (or absence) of a filter pan and of fluid within a filter pan. Configured in a filter pan of a deep fryer, the sensor determines when a level of liquid within the filter pan is at or above the level of the. The sensor is in communication with the control system and the sensor sends a signal to the control system representative of the presence of liquid within the filter pan and at the level of the sensor. The controller receives the signal from the sensor, and allows operation of a fluid management system and its associated plumbing to completely and safely move oil into and out of the filter pan.
Drainless icemaker appliance
An icemaker appliance includes an ice maker positioned within a cabinet. A circulation conduit extends from a sump to the ice maker. A pump is connected to the circulation conduit such that the pump is operable to flow liquid water from the sump to the ice maker through the circulation conduit. A deionization filter assembly is coupled to the circulation conduit. A sensor is operable to measure a total dissolved solids value of the liquid water flowing through the circulation conduit.
Multi-configuration water purification system and method
A water purification kit/system comprises a first pot, a second pot, a filter, and a condensation collector. The first pot and the second pot are configurable into first and second configurations, wherein, in the first and second configurations, the first pot is either an upper pot or a lower pot, and the second pot is the other of the upper pot and the lower pot. In the first configuration, the upper pot and the lower pot form a water filtration system. In the second configuration, the upper pot and the lower pot form a water distillation system.
