Closed loop recycling system and dip tank for antimicrobial compounds
09924727 · 2018-03-27 · ·

A dip tank and recycling system for applying antimicrobial solution to food items, including a dip tank having a bottom and sides, and holding a liquid antimicrobial solution. A conveyor to convey food items through the tank passes through the liquid antimicrobial solution held in the tank such that food items conveyed on the conveyor are dipped in the liquid antimicrobial solution. At least two discharge nozzles spray fresh antimicrobial solution into the tank. The discharge nozzles are located in the sides of the tank, and are positioned above the level of the conveyor but below an expected top level of the liquid antimicrobial solution contained within the tank such that food items conveyed on the conveyor are agitated by the force of the spray from the discharge nozzles. The spray from the discharge nozzles causes unstacking of items on the conveyor, producing an even application of the antimicrobial solution.

DEWATERING SYSTEM FOR USE WITH INDUSTRIAL EXCAVATION EQUIPMENT
20180045152 · 2018-02-15 ·

A dewatering system is disclosed. In a particular embodiment, the dewatering system includes a debris tank configured to receive a slurry through an inlet and a dewatering filter installed in the debris tank. In addition, the dewatering system includes a bar screen forming a curvilinear surface of the dewatering filter, where the bar screen is configured to prevent sediment from passing through and into an interior space of the dewatering filter. A first end of the dewatering filter is in communication with a discharge port to remove filtered liquid from an interior of the debris tank, and a vibratory device is configured to shake the dewatering filter to remove sediment from an exterior surface of the dewatering filter.

INTAKE BYPASS FLOW MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS

Filtration systems having a normal filtration mode and an enhanced filtration mode are described. In some arrangements, the filtration system is an air filtration system having a primary air filter element, a pre-cleaner, and a pre-cleaner bypass valve. Based on feedback from an intake air quality sensor the bypass valve is either opened or closed to selectively route intake air through the pre-cleaner during sensed dirty air operating conditions (e.g., heavy dust or moisture concentrations). In other arrangements, the filtration system is a liquid filtration system (e.g., a fuel or oil a secondary filter. The filtration system selectively routes the liquid being filtered through the main filter, the secondary filter, or a combination thereof depending on a detected event or sensed characteristic of the liquid.

Filter System and Filtration Method for Fluid Reservoirs

A fluid reservoir for accommodating a fluid reductant used in an SCR exhaust treatment process may include various styles or designs of bag filters to filter debris and contaminants from the reductant prior to being channeled out of the reservoir. To secure the bag filter to a header assembly accommodating the various inlet and outlet tubes, in one aspect, the bag filter is adapted to fit around a header boss descending from the header assembly and protruding into the reservoir volume. Various configurations for the bag filter can be utilized to secure the bag filter to the header boss in a manner that isolates the tubes of the header assembly from the remainder of the reservoir volume to prevent debris and the like from being unintentionally drawn out of the reservoir.
