An upper plate provided on upper ends of a filtration member and an inner tube includes a tubular portion along the inner tube, a rib formed so as to protrude inward in a radial direction from an inner circumference of the tubular portion, and a hole formed in the rib. A gripping member has a protrusion portion that protrudes downward from a body portion having a thick plate shape inserted into a hollow portion of the tubular portion. When the gripping member is mounted on the upper plate, the protrusion portion is inserted into the hole.

A self-cleaning, automated apparatus with a filter for fluids includes a nozzle unit assembly that has two nozzle tubes, one inside of another. Each of the tubes has a respective pattern of one or more slots or holes. As the tubes rotate, one with respect to the other, part of the pattern of the one coincides at times with part of the pattern of the other, resulting in a jet of fluid directed toward a filter to remove debris from the filter. The filter is rotated so the jet can reach all parts to be cleaned. The respective patterns of the two nozzle tubes may be an approximation of a helix and/or an approximation of a line.

The invention relates to preventing microplastics from the entering the environment. In particular the invention is directed to filtering microfibers from the waste water from washing machines as well as waste from other appliances and other sources of effluent with entrained microplastics or other microp-ollutants. A separator is provided for separating microplastics from effluent comprising; a chamber including at least one sieve structure, a shroud that acts as a vortex finder and a baffle coaxial with the shroud and projecting upwards from the lower end of the chamber, wherein the shroud has a circular lower rim and the baffle has a circular upper rim, wherein the radius of the lower rim of the shroud is greater than the radius of the upper rim of the baffle.

The fill kit further includes a fluid pump including a suction interface connection and a discharge interface connection. A filter assembly mounted within the frame. A fluid pressure regulator include a fluid outlet port, the fluid pressure regulator being configured to stop a flow of fluid when a pressure exceeds a fluid pressure threshold. In a first configuration, the suction interface connection is in fluid communication with the tank, and the discharge interface connection is in fluid communication with the filter unit, the pressure regulator, and the fluid outlet port to generate a flow of fluid through the fluid outlet port.

A first plate of a filter element includes a first tubular portion having a substantially cylindrical shape that protrudes toward a lid member with the filter element inserted into a filter case. The first tubular portion includes first projections protruding outward in a radial direction. The lid member includes a second tubular portion inserted into a hollow portion of the first tubular portion.
