An assembly (1) for filtering water comprising: a filter (10) forming a permeable receptacle for fluid to be filtered, an actuating inlet (300) for providing a stream of water, a filter fluid inlet (302) for providing fluid to be filtered to the filter (10), and, a rotatable cleaning structure (20) for cleaning the filter (10), wherein the structure (20) comprises at least one scraper (201) extending along and substantially abutting a first surface (101) of the filter (10), the scraper (201) being rotatable with respect to the first surface (101) of the filter (10), and wherein the structure (20) further comprises at least one rotatable element (250) arranged for receiving the stream of water, the stream of water being receivable in, and filterable by, the filter (10) and wherein the element (250) is rotationally engaged with the scraper (201) such that the stream of water providing a rotational force to the element (250), rotates the scraper (201) with respect to the first surface (101) of the filter.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SCREEN BODY, AND SCREEN

A method for producing a screen body for a screen used in a screw press, which screen body comprises one or more openings on a screen surface. In order to achieve a particularly long service life, it is provided that the screen body is formed by a sintering process and/or an additive manufacturing process, in particular a 31) printing process. Further embodiments include a screen, in particular for a screw press, having a screen body Which has openings on a screen surface.

FILTERING SYSTEM, IN PARTICULAR FOR A WASHING OR DRYING MACHINE, SUCH AS A LAUNDRY WASHING MACHINE OR A CLOTHES DRYER

A filtering system (10) includes a casing (12) internally defining a cavity (14) and has an inlet (16) configured to receive a fluid and leading into the cavity (14), and an outlet (18) configured to deliver the fluid coming from the cavity (14). A filtering assembly (100) is contained in the cavity (14) and is configured to be crossed by the fluid entering the casing (12) through the inlet (16), so as to trap any solid particles, in particular microplastic ones, contained in the fluid. A compacting assembly (200) situated in the cavity (14) is configured for collecting and compacting the solid particles trapped by the filtering assembly (100). A driving assembly (300) is configured to drive the compacting assembly (200).

Bar screen filter apparatus and method

An apparatus for removing debris from water in a channel includes a bar screen assembly having a plurality of spaced apart, elongated filter bars arranged in a parallel relationship. A continuous conveyor carries a plurality of rakes. Each rake includes a plurality of spaced-apart tines interdigitated with the filter bars as the rake is moved along the filter bars by the conveyor to remove debris from the bar screen assembly. A conveyor belt retaining system includes at least one guide engaging an upstream side of an inner run of the conveyor and a counterweight connected to the at least one guide for biasing the inner run in a downstream direction.
