SEWAGE TREATMENT SYSTEM USING MULTISTAGE LONG-FIBER FILTERING DEVICE, AND TREATMENT METHOD THEREOF
Provided are a sewage treatment system using a multistage long-fiber filtering device, and a treatment method thereof. The sewage treatment system uses at least one pressurized long-fiber filtering device and at least one submerged-type long-fiber filtering device to treat sewage by a direct filtration method. The pressurized long-fiber filtering device treats sewage by direct filtration, and the submerged-type long-fiber filtering device treats the sewage by concentrating backwashing water of filtered sewage and dehydrating and disposing of the backwashing water. The pressurized long-fiber filtering devices and the submerged-type long-fiber filtering devices are respectively provided in a modular including a plurality of the devices in a symmetrical structure to each other. Accordingly, as sewage is treated by direct filtration by using the pressurized long-fiber filtering device and the submerged-type long-fiber filtering device, greenhouse gases may be reduced without microbial treatment.
ANIMAL SKIN SUBSTRATE TREATMENT METHOD AND APPARATUS
A method of treating an animal skin substrate comprising: agitating the animal skin substrate with a solid particulate material and a treatment liquor; separating the animal skin substrate from effluent comprising the solid particulate material, the treatment liquor and solid waste fragments derived from said substrate; transferring the effluent to a first separator, wherein the first separator is configured to allow the treatment liquor and at least a portion of the solid waste fragments to pass through the first separator but to prevent the solid particulate material from passing through the first separator, and providing a first filtrate stream comprising treatment liquor and solid waste fragments and a first residue comprising solid particulate material and residual solid waste fragments treating said first residue to remove said residual solid waste fragments to provide cleaned solid particulate material, wherein said treating of said first residue comprises retaining said solid particulate material on a surface of a treatment separator during said treating, wherein the treatment separator is configured to allow liquid and residual solid waste fragments to pass through but to prevent the solid particulate material from passing through; and (i) directing a cleaning formulation onto said solid particulate material to provide a second filtrate stream comprising said cleaning formulation and said residual solid waste fragments and a second residue comprising cleaned solid particulate material; and/or (ii) agitating the treatment separator.

FILTER CLEANING SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present invention discloses a method for self-cleaning filters without having to open the filter housing. Wash nozzles are integrated with the filter housings such that when the filters are clogged, both back-wash and regular washing can be performed with practically no down time. Moreover, without opening the filter housing, the hazardous components of the fluid to be filtered can be contained and dealt with before they escape the filter housing, thereby significantly reduces the environmental impact and harm to the working crew.
