METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FILTERING FLUID IN NUCLEAR POWER GENERATION
A filtering apparatus for a fluid intake of a nuclear power generation facility comprise primary and secondary frames. The primary frame defines an enclosed volume having least one inlet opening, and at least one outlet opening in fluid communication with the fluid intake. A primary filter is supported on the primary frame and covers the inlet opening such that fluid passes into the enclosed volume through the primary filter. The secondary frame is located within the volume enclosed by the primary frame. A secondary filter is supported on the secondary frame and defines an enclosed flow passage in communication with the outlet opening, such that fluid passes into the at least one outlet opening through the secondary filter and the enclosed flow passage.
Round filter element of a filter for urea-water solution and filter
A round filter element of a filter for a urea-water solution has a filter bellows with a filter medium that continuously extends circumferentially, relative to a filter element axis, around an element interior. An end body is fastened to an end face of the filter bellows and provided with a connecting section for fastening the round filter element to a housing cover of a filter housing of the filter. The end body has a central opening communicating with the element interior. The central opening has a central insertion section for receiving a flexible separation section of a volume compensation device of the filter and has an outer flow-through section enabling flow of the urea-water solution out of the filtration volume or into the filtration volume. The filter has a volume compensation device with a flexible separation section that separates a compensation volume from the filtration volume of the filter.
FILTER ELEMENT HAVING FLOW DIRECTING TUBE AND STANDPIPE AND FILTER SYSTEMS INCLUDING THE FILTER ELEMENT
Filter elements and filter systems are provided. The filter element allows for a reversed flow of fluid through the filter element when flowing from a first port to a second port of a filter head of the filter system. The filter element includes a standpipe in a central cavity of a tube of filter media that is fluidly connected with an exterior of the tube of filter media by a radial flow conduit and an axial flow tube.
Apparatus and method for infusing and dispensing oils, and drying and heating infusing materials
The present invention pertains in general to an apparatus and method for the drying and activating of infusing material, and the infusing, agitation and dispensation of oils in a controlled manner to produce a desired potency of an infusion while remaining below an identified maximum temperature threshold.

MULTI-POSITION FILTER
An apparatus is disclosed for a multi-position water filter. An example water filter includes a housing defining an internal cavity, the housing comprising a head including an inlet and an outlet, and a foot positioned opposite the head. The water filter also includes an inner filter assembly positioned in the internal cavity, the inner filter assembly comprising a head cap fluidly connected to the outlet, a foot cap, a filter media connected to the head cap and the foot cap, and an internal tube positioned in the filter media, wherein the internal cavity includes a radially oriented orifice configured to enable air to pass through, but prevent water from passing through.
METHOD AND APPARATUSES FOR SCREENING
A leaching tank that can be used in an interstage screening process includes a draft tube with an impeller that extracts slurry or liquid from an interior of a screen basket mounted in the leaching tank. The impeller is driven by a motor, and the speed at which the motor rotates can be selectively varied to vary a flow rate of fluid or slurry being removed from the leaching tank. A position of the input end of the draft tube can be selectively varied within the leaching tank to vary a position within the leaching tank from which fluid or slurry is withdrawn from the leaching tank.
PARTICLE TRAPPING CHAMBER, PARTICLE TRAPPING CHIP, PARTICLE COLLECTING METHOD, AND PARTICLE SORTING DEVICE
To provide a particle trapping chamber, a particle trapping chip, a particle collecting method, and a particle sorting device, capable of selectively collecting microparticles without directly labeling the microparticles. A particle trapping chamber includes at least a particle trapping unit having a well with a hole, and a particle trapping channel unit used for trapping a particle in the well. The hole causes the well and the particle trapping channel unit to communicate with each other, and at least one of the hole or the particle trapping unit has an inner wall coated with a thermally fusible substance.
WASHING MACHINE WITH FILTER GROUP
A washing machine (900) includes a drum (910) in which washing operations are carried out, a drainage hose (950) fluidically connected to the drum (910) and fluidically connectable to a drainage system and a filter group (1) positioned along the drainage hose (950). The filter group (1) filters synthetic microfibers of micrometric size and is made of a non-woven fabric having synthetic fibers.
DEVICE FOR SEPARATING SOLID MATERIALS FROM LIQUIDS AND GASES
The invention relates to a device for separating solid materials out of liquids or gases and for discharging solid material. The device comprises a pressurised container and at least one filter element, the at least one filter element being arranged in a flexible container which is arranged in the pressurised container and is sealed tightly relative thereto. The pressurised container comprises at least one outlet for discharging the solid material and the flexible container comprises at least one discharge connection, the discharge connection of the flexible container being guided through the outlet of the pressurised container and sealed tightly relative to the pressurised container. In this case the outlet and the discharge connection of the flexible container can be closed and sealed by means of a closure mechanism relative to the environment outside the flexible container and the pressurised container.
