Liner for a filter sub-assembly
A liner for a filter sub-assembly has a wall having an outermost surface and an innermost surface. The innermost surface bounds a cavity extending between opposing first and second ends of the liner. A portion of the outermost surface is textured. The liner may be used in a rotor of a filter assembly.

SCREENING APPARATUS FOR REMOVING SOLID MATERIAL FROM FLOWING LIQUID AND ASSOCIATED SCREENING PANEL
A screening panel for an apparatus for removing solid material from a flowing liquid, where the screening panel is mountable to a conveyor of the apparatus for travel around an endless path passing into and out of the flowing liquid. The screening panel is molded from a polymeric material and provided with a plurality of apertures each extending through the screening panel from a first major surface to an opposing second major surface. The apertures each have a tapered hexagonal cross-section.

FILTERING PANEL AND DRUM FILTER PROVIDED WITH SUCH PANELS
The present invention relates to a filter panel which is intended to be mounted in a drum filter, the filter panel comprising a peripheral frame to which a filter cloth is fixed, the frame being formed by two longitudinal members which are connected at each end by an end cross-member, characterized in that the filter panel comprises a lattice (R1) of crosspieces which connect the inner edges of the frame to one another, the lattice (R1) of crosspieces forming at least a first closed pattern (54) in the centre of the frame and comprising at least four diagonals which are inclined with respect to the longitudinal members and which extend from the first closed pattern to an inner edge of the frame.

Tumbler systems and methods
A tumbler may be used as defluidizer, dryer, coater, classifier, or dynamic filter. The tumbler includes a housing for rotatably supporting a removable screened drum on a plurality of rollers. The drum receives a solid/fluid slurry through an inlet chute. As the slurry travels through the drum, fluid exits the drum through a plurality of apertures in screens attached to the sides of the drum, while the solids continue along the drum's length until they reach one or more openings and exit the drum into an outlet chute. The outlet chute includes ridges that wrap around rings extending from the openings of the drum to prevent solids from escaping the outlet chute. To further dry the solids before they exit the drum, an air tube disposed within the drum is configured to direct air through the screens to an air blower intake positioned outside of the drum.

Rotatable basket extractor
A rotatable basket extractor for use in extracting oil from oleaginous feed material is disclosed. The extractor includes a rotatable rotor that includes a plurality of baskets extending radially outward from a central shaft, and the baskets receive and transport the oleaginous feed material while a motor rotates the baskets between a feed inlet and a feed outlet. The rotor is located within a housing and positioned above a screen through which miscella that drains from the feed material passes. The miscella is collected in a trough located below the screen and is sprayed onto the feed material bed positioned within the baskets in a counter-current manner. A suction device pulls vapor down between the particles of the feed material bed to decrease the drainage time of the miscella through the feed material.
