SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES EMPLOYING WET/DRY SUCTION FILTER
Water or wastewater filtration systems and processes have a filter tank having a floor and sidewall defining a filtration zone, an influent conduit, and an effluent conduit. One or more filtration members in the tank having filter media, and one or more cleaning members adjacent at least some portions of the filter media. Generating an effluent stream by generating a pressure differential across submerged portions of the filtration media, causing water in the influent to flow from outside to inside the submerged portions of the filter media. A prime mover rotates the filtration members. A blower and chamber for creating a reduced pressure condition in each of the cleaning members when they are non-submerged, the chamber receiving wet solids removed from non-submerged, wet solids-laden portions of the filter media by the non-submerged cleaning members subsequent to submerged, fouled portions of the filter media being rotated out of the filtration zone.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MEASURING A FILTER CAKE THICKNESS
A rotary pressure filter, comprising a filter drum and a housing. A sensor is attached to the housing and emits light through a light-permeable section of the housing in the direction of a filter cake. The sensor receives light reflected from the filter cake through the light-permeable section of the housing. A processing unit compares properties of the emitted light with those of the received light and determines an absolute thickness of the filter cake and/or a change in the thickness of the filter cake over a pre-determined time. The invention further relates to a corresponding method.
DISC FILTER PRE-SCREEN DUAL MEDIA DISC FILTER
According to various aspects and embodiments, a system and method for two-stage filtration is provided. The system includes an inlet fluidly connectable with wastewater, a first stage filter assembly that is fluidly connectable with the inlet and has a rotary drum with a filter surface configured for radially inward fluid flow, a second stage filter assembly that is fluidly connectable with the first stage filter and has a plurality of filter discs configured for radially outward fluid flow, and an outlet fluidly connectable with filtrate generated by the second stage disc filter assembly.

ROTATING FILTERS AND RELATED SYSTEMS
In accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure, an apparatus includes a tubular filter and a motor coupled to the tubular filter. The tubular filter includes a plurality of apertures. The motor rotates the tubular filter about an axis while a differential pressure is applied to an interior space of the tubular filter relative to exterior to the tubular filter. A force is applied, related to the rotation of the tubular filter, to particulate matter agglomerated to an exterior surface of the tubular filter such that the particulate matter is removed from the exterior surface.

Irrigation water filtering system and method of use
A water filtering system includes a support with pontoons to provide buoyancy and a suction pipe; a plate connected to the pontoons and suction pipe; and a wheel bearing shaft. A venturi system includes a venturi suction pipe and a discharge pipe. A screen assembly to engage with the plate around the venturi system, having a filter drum; and a wheel bearing assembly engage with a wheel bearing shaft to secure the screen assembly in place; buckets are mounted to the closed end; and a pump engaged with the suction pipe. The pontoons and the suction pipe extend into the filter drum; water is pulled through the venturi suction pipe and further pushed to the discharge pipe and the split pipe to fall out and into the buckets; the filter drum to rotates; and water is dumped from each of the buckets through the screen.

ROTARY FILTER SYSTEM, A ROTARY FILTER DEVICE AND A SEPARATION SYSTEM
A rotary filter system includes a drive device and a rotary filter device including a filter housing and a filter unit, the filter housing having an inlet and first and second outlets. The filter unit is in the filter housing and completely enclosed by the filter housing. The filter unit has a filter element delimiting a fluid space from a filtrate space, filtrate is discharged from the filtrate space through the first outlet. The filter unit includes a magnetically effective core in a disk-shaped or ring-shaped manner. The drive device has a drive housing in which a stator is disposed to drive the rotation of the filter unit. The stator is a bearing and drive stator which interacts with the magnetically effective core as an electromagnetic rotary drive, so that the filter unit is capable of being magnetically driven without contact and magnetically levitated with respect to the stator.
