An annular wall portion (21) is located adjacent the inner end (13) and includes drain passages (24) adapted to drain discontinuities in a bonding layer comprising a moisture cure polyurethane sealant/adhesive overlying the annular wall portion (21). Wear resistant tungsten carbide elements (26) include a plurality of apertures (27) extending through a wear face to a bonding face. Voids (32) in the discontinuous bonding layer (31) provide fluid interconnection between the apertures (27) and the drain passages (24). A replaceable screen member (33) is releasably secured at an inner ring frame (22) and an outer ring frame (36) of the screen body (12).
DISHWASHER FILTER ASSEMBLY
A dishwasher includes a tub with an access opening to a treating chamber, a sump, at least one sprayer emitting liquid into the treating chamber, a pump, a conduit fluidly coupling the sump to the pump and the pump to the at least one sprayer, thereby defining a recirculation circuit through which the liquid sprayed into the treating chamber collects in the sump and is pumped back to the at least one sprayer. The dishwasher also includes a filter assembly in the sump for filtering the liquid in the recirculation circuit including a cleaning element.
Disc filter pre-screen dual media disc filter
According to various aspects and embodiments, a system and method for two-stage filtration is provided. The system includes an inlet fluidly connectable with wastewater, a first stage filter assembly that is fluidly connectable with the inlet and has a rotary drum with a filter surface configured for radially inward fluid flow, a second stage filter assembly that is fluidly connectable with the first stage filter and has a plurality of filter discs configured for radially outward fluid flow, and an outlet fluidly connectable with filtrate generated by the second stage disc filter assembly.
Continuous Rotary Plate Filter and Methods of Use Thereof
The present disclosure provides for a continuous rotary plate filter apparatus and a method of using the apparatus to separate slurries into liquids and solids. The methods and apparatus are useful for the production of fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals, particularly using Integrated Continuous Manufacturing (ICM), but can also be integrated with other manufacturing processes, such as batch and semi-continuous processes.
Waste processing system
A device and method that removes moisture from human, animal, vegetable, and plant materials, yielding clear discharge water that can be returned to a sewage treatment plant. Some wastes can also yield fertilizer and an energy positive fuel source.
Rotary drum screen for thin stillage filtration
A rotating drum screen system for separating solids from an influent material stream includes a housing having an influent inlet, a solid discharge end and an area between the influent inlet and the solid discharge end. A hollow portion of a drum screen positioned lengthwise in the area between the influent inlet end and the solid discharge end receives influent. The drum screen includes a filter screen that retains at least a portion of the solids within the hollow portion of the drum screen and which produces a liquid effluent that is discharged from an outer surface of the drum screen. The retained solids are removable from the drum screen via the solid discharge end. A head box is disposed within the hollow portion of the drum screen and has a plurality of fluid flow channel dividers dividing and directing an influent stream outwardly against the drum screen.
Device for Filtering Fiber Suspensions
A vat (1) with an inlet (2) for a suspension. A rotatable inner axial part (5) with peripheral channels (7) and at least one disc-shaped filter (8) mounted to the inner axial part (5). Within the vat the suspension is contained between partition walls (16A) in which the filters rotate. The filter (8) has inner flow channels (42) for transporting filtrate to channels (7) in the inner axial part (5). The filtrate from the channels (7) is combined in one end of the inner axial part (5) into at least one vacuum forming downpipe (12). Sprays (13) (15) detach material deposited on the filters. Mounted to the top of the partition walls (16A), which form receiving chutes (16), are guide plates (14A) for guiding material down into the chutes. Spray nozzles (14B) are located below the guide plate(s) and between the partition walls (16A) to clean the filtering surface (10).
Device for removing impurities from a liquid and method for cleaning a corresponding device
A device for removing impurities from a liquid, preferably sewage, includes a pivoted filtering drum having a filtering surface, equipped with a drum drive operatively connected to the filtering drum to turn the filtering drum around a rotating axis. A cleaning system cleans the filtering surface and has a guide and a spray nozzle arrangement movable back and forth along the guide. Cleaning liquid can be sprayed on the filter surface. The spray nozzle arrangement may include at least one carrier movable back and forth along the guide and at least one spray nozzle mounted on the carrier so that it can be moved around an axis. A related method for cleaning a corresponding device is disclosed.
Waste screening apparatus
The present discloses a waste screening apparatus comprising: a main body; a waste screener vertically and tiltedly disposed in the main body to screen wastes in the input water and to allow waste-removed water to be discharged through water discharge holes defined in both side faces of the main body respectively, wherein the waste screener vertically circulates in a conveyor manner, wherein the input water is input to a front, rear and bottom of the waste screener; wherein the main body includes: both side walls having the water discharge holes defined therein respectively to allow waste-removed water to be discharged out from the waste screener therethrough; and a rear blocking wall disposed at a rear of the waste screener to be spaced from the waste screener, wherein the input water passes through front and rear portions of the waste screener with wastes being removed from the input water, and, then, is discharged out through the water discharge holes defined in the both side walls respectively.
