Microcarrier filter bag assemblies and methods of use
A filter bag assembly includes a flexible bag bounding a compartment that is configured to hold a fluid. An inlet port and an outlet port are each secured to the flexible bag so as to communicate with the compartment. A porous filter sheet is disposed within the compartment of the flexible bag so that fluid entering the compartment through the inlet port must pass through the filter sheet before exiting the compartment through the outlet port. A first retention seal secures the porous filter sheet to a portion of the flexible bag within the compartment, the first retention seal having an outer perimeter edge that forms an annular continuous loop.
Systems and methods for purifying natural water for recreational swimming with modular filtration units
Systems and methods for filtering unpurified water using modular filtration units are disclosed. According some embodiments of the invention the modular filtration unit may include a modular removable filtration cartridge with pressed non-woven geotextile fabrics and a frame assembly, and a filtration container. The filtration container holds the modular removable filtration cartridges and has walls that form a basin. A first wall has an inlet for receiving water into the filtration container and a second wall has an outlet for draining water out of the filtration container. The water is filtered by the modular removable filtration cartridges as it flows across the basin from the inlet to the outlet. The modular filtration units may be combined together to form a zoned filtration assembly, which may be inserted into the hull of a floating swimming pool. The zoned filtration assemblies may filter natural water as it fills the swimming pool.

Machine fluid system having filter protector for sock filter in manifold tube assembly
A fluid system for a machine includes a tube assembly and a sock filter enveloping the tube assembly. The fluid system also includes a filter protector adjacent to a fastener in the tube assembly and including a first connector fitted with a first tube, a second connector fitted with a second tube, and a wall that arcs between the first connector and the second connector and limits contact between a sock filter enveloping the tube assembly and the fastener.

Proppant recovery unit
An apparatus and method for separating solid matter from liquid matter includes a container, a gas buster, a trough, a winch, and a filter. The gas buster is positioned above the container to dissipate energy associated with incoming solid matter and liquid matter. The trough is positioned below an outlet of the gas buster and has a bottom sloping from a high end to a low end with an opening at the low end. The filter is positionable below the opening of the trough in a way that the solid matter and the liquid matter passing from the opening of the trough enter the filter wherein the liquid matter passes through the filter and into the container and the solid matter is collected in the filter. The filter is removable from the container to permit the amount of solid matter collected in the filter to be determined.
Particle Separation System and Method
A method including the steps of providing fluid through an inlet into a vessel at atmospheric pressure. The method further includes passing the fluid through a filtration unit utilizing a downstream pump, the filtration unit creating a flux of less than or equal to about 0.05 gallons per minute per square foot (GPM/ft.sup.2), and moving the fluid processed by the filtration unit through an outlet of the vessel.
Urea water tank for construction machine
A urea water tank (11) is provided with a unit insertion opening (12H) that is disposed on a top surface part (12A) of a tank body (12) and opens more largely than an external dimension (D2) of a sensor unit (20), a sensor mounting member (16) that is disposed on the top surface part (12A) of the tank body (12) and closes the unit insertion opening (12H), and a filter which is formed as a tubular body to surround the sensor unit (20), and inserted in the unit insertion opening (12H) of the tank body (12) from a lower end (24A4)-side, and having an upper end (24A3) mounted on the top surface part (12A) of the tank body (12) by using the sensor mounting member (16).
Apparatus and method for infusing and dispensing oils, and drying and heating infusing materials
The present invention pertains in general to an apparatus and method for the drying and activating of infusing material, and the infusing, agitation and dispensation of oils in a controlled manner to produce a desired potency of an infusion while remaining below an identified maximum temperature threshold.
