Filter arrangement for a selective catalytic reduction system
The present disclosure is directed towards a filter arrangement for a reductant supply system of a selective catalytic reduction system. The reductant supply system comprises a tank and a suction tube mounted at least partially in the tank for receiving reductant liquid from the tank. The filter arrangement comprises a restraining body, a filter at least partially forming a filter chamber, a filter outlet from the filter chamber formed through the restraining body and/or filter and a filter mount mounted to the restraining body and/or filter. The restraining body extends radially outwardly from the filter mount and is configured to restrain the filter such that, under the effect of buoyancy in the tank in use, gas in the filter chamber is directed towards the filter outlet.
Filter arrangement for a selective catalytic reduction system
The present disclosure is directed towards a filter arrangement for a reductant supply system of a selective catalytic reduction system. The reductant supply system comprises a tank and a suction tube mounted at least partially in the tank for receiving reductant liquid from the tank. The filter arrangement comprises a restraining body, a filter at least partially forming a filter chamber, a filter outlet from the filter chamber formed through the restraining body and/or filter and a filter mount mounted to the restraining body and/or filter. The restraining body extends radially outwardly from the filter mount and is configured to restrain the filter such that, under the effect of buoyancy in the tank in use, gas in the filter chamber is directed towards the filter outlet.

The present invention relates to a purification apparatus that purifies crystals, the purification apparatus including: a hydraulic wash column that includes a discharging port for a crystal-containing circulation slurry and a return port for a circulation liquid containing a melt of discharged crystals; a pipe that feeds a crystal-containing slurry to the hydraulic wash column; a filter that filters the crystal-containing slurry in the hydraulic wash column; a pipe that is connected to the filter and discharges a mother liquor; and a unit that melts crystals in a circulation slurry discharged through the discharging port, wherein a distance between a lower end of the filter and an average bottom surface level of the hydraulic wash column is 1000 mm or more.

The present invention relates to a purification apparatus that purifies crystals, the purification apparatus including: a hydraulic wash column that includes a discharging port for a crystal-containing circulation slurry and a return port for a circulation liquid containing a melt of discharged crystals; a pipe that feeds a crystal-containing slurry to the hydraulic wash column; a filter that filters the crystal-containing slurry in the hydraulic wash column; a pipe that is connected to the filter and discharges a mother liquor; and a unit that melts crystals in a circulation slurry discharged through the discharging port, wherein a distance between a lower end of the filter and an average bottom surface level of the hydraulic wash column is 1000 mm or more.
Flow control elements and fluid apparatus including the same
Flow control elements (FCEs) and fluid apparatus including the same are described. In embodiments the flow control elements (FCE) include a body that includes a front side, a back side, a left side, and a right side. The body further includes a base region, an upper region, and an intermediate region between the base region and the upper region. The FCE is configured to move in response to a fluid flow (or, more specifically, a pressure differential across the FCE) to regulate a flow of fluid past the FCE. In embodiments the FCE is included in a fluid apparatus for a vehicle, such as but not limited to a suction filter for a vehicle transmission.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PURIFYING NATURAL WATER FOR RECREATIONAL SWIMMING WITH MODULAR FILTRATION UNITS
Systems and methods for filtering unpurified water using modular filtration units are disclosed. According some embodiments of the invention the modular filtration unit may include a modular removable filtration cartridge with pressed non-woven geotextile fabrics and a frame assembly, and a filtration container. The filtration container holds the modular removable filtration cartridges and has walls that form a basin. A first wall has an inlet for receiving water into the filtration container and a second wall has an outlet for draining water out of the filtration container. The water is filtered by the modular removable filtration cartridges as it flows across the basin from the inlet to the outlet. The modular filtration units may be combined together to form a zoned filtration assembly, which may be inserted into the hull of a floating swimming pool. The zoned filtration assemblies may filter natural water as it fills the swimming pool.
