A housing assembly, portable filter system using the housing assembly and methods of mounting a filter element in a housing assembly are provided. The housing assembly is usable with filter elements of different types. The housing assembly includes a housing body having an open end and being attached to a filter head. The filter head includes a first housing sealing interface configured to sealingly mate with a filter element of the first type and a second housing sealing interface configured to sealingly mate with a filter element of the second type. A cover member removably attaches to the housing body and includes a third housing sealing interface configured to sealingly mate the filter element of the second.

A filtering device includes a two-piece housing and a disposable, self-contained filter cartridge. The filter cartridge includes a cylindrical filter with a specialized flow bypass endcap, and possibly a second differentiated endcap, wherein each endcap is coupled to opposing ends of the cylindrical filter. The flow bypass endcap includes two channels for the passage of fluids, one channel for the ingress of pre-filtered fluid another channel for egress of filtrate. The bottom endcap can block fluid flow into the end of the cylindrical filter. The filter cartridge includes an impermeable bladder which may be coupled to the outer surface of each endcap such that the bladder completely encloses the filter media. Fluid entering the system passes through ingress channel of the flow bypass endcap into bladder (which surrounds the filter and isolates the fluid from the filter housing).

A water filtration system includes at least one filter cartridge, a seat body and a flow guide adapter. The seat body has a connecting portion defining two passages respectively connected downward to water inlet and outlet of the filter cartridge. The seat body further has a main passageway that has two apertures in communication with the passages of the connecting portion. The flow guide adapter is inserted in an entrance of the main passageway of the seat body, and has a tube fitting portion, a flow guiding portion integrally extending from the tube fitting portion, and an interior tunnel extending through the tube fitting portion to the flow guiding portion for receiving water flow from a conduit. In particular, the flow guiding portion guides water flow from the interior tunnel to the filter cartridge and then back to the main passageway of the seat body.

A fluid degassing device includes a first housing, a second housing disposed within the first housing, a first flow circuit defined by the second housing and the first housing between a first flow circuit opening and a second flow circuit opening of the first flow circuit, and a tube bundle of selectively permeable membrane tubes disposed in the first flow circuit between the second housing and first housing. The tube bundle is disposed at least partially around a circumference of the second housing and the first flow circuit is defined between the first flow circuit opening of the first flow circuit and the second flow circuit opening such that fuel flows rotationally around the second housing through the tube bundle.

A fluid degassing device includes a first housing, a second housing disposed at least partially within the first housing, and a first flow circuit defined by the second housing and first housing and the first housing, wherein the second housing includes a second housing opening of the first flow circuit and the first housing includes a first housing opening of the first flow circuit. The device includes a tube bundle of selectively permeable membrane tubes disposed in the first flow circuit between the second housing and first housing. The tube bundle is disposed at least partially around a circumference of the second housing. The tube bundle is configured to be in fluid communication with a second flow circuit to fluidly communicate with an inner channel of the tubes of the tube bundle.

A composite filter cartridge, comprising a filter cartridge body provided with two filter devices. Each filter device is respectively provided with a support component which fixes the filter device, and the filter devices are arranged in a linear manner and fixed with respect to one another. Each filter device is respectively provided with an independent housing, a filter module and a filter water channel, the filter module and the filter water channel being arranged within the housing, the filter water channel sequentially comprising a water inlet cavity and a water outlet cavity, the water inlet cavity and the water outlet cavity being connected via the corresponding filter module.

A pool cleaner including a first filter assembly and a second filter assembly is provided in the present disclosure. The first filter assembly includes a first housing defining a first chamber, where the first housing is provided with a first water inlet and a first water outlet; and a first filter device disposed in the first chamber configured to perform a first filtration to water from the first water inlet. The second filter assembly includes a second housing defining a second chamber provided with a second water inlet, the second water inlet is connected with the first water outlet; and a second filter device disposed in the second chamber configured to perform a second filtration to the first filtered water. The first housing is detachably connected with the second housing. The pool cleaner in the present disclosure has a good filtering effect and is easy to disassemble.

A filter device may include a filter housing with a filter housing pot and a cover screwable onto the filter housing pot, and an annular filter element arranged in the filter housing and having an axially protruding pin for closing a run-off channel. The annular filter element may be connected to the cover via a first thread, which may have a dome protruding centrally and axially from an upper end disc of the annular filter element, with an outer thread interrupted by free passages, and hollow cylindrical spring elements, which may protrude axially from the cover and on which an inner thread portion designed to complement the outer thread may be arranged. Each inner thread portion may extend over a longer circumferential portion than one of the free passages. The first thread may be designed running counter to a second thread arranged between the filter housing pot and the cover.

A high pressure filter including first and second housings having complimentary tapered surfaces, a gasket located between the tapered surfaces, a filter element centrally disposed within the housings, and a compression collar fitted over the second housing and threaded onto the first housing is provided. Methods of making and using high pressure filters are also provided.
