Fluid Filtering System and Associated Methods
A two-stage filtering system including a first and second filter container. The first filter container has a first filter assembly with a foam filter sleeve enveloping a fluid intake device, a connected valve, and transfer tubing. The second filter includes a pump connected to a spout, a second stage splashguard strainer, a second stage cup filter, and a second filter assembly. The second filter assembly includes at least one main filter comprising at least one carbon body filter enveloping a filter chamber, and exit tubing. The first filter container is structured to stack on top of the second filter container and the transfer tubing is structured to transfer first stage filtered fluid to the second filter container. The pump is structured to draw second stage filtered fluid from the second container through the exit tubing and expel the second stage filtered fluid out the spout to provide purified water.
WATER PROVIDING STATION
A water providing station having a housing that supports a basin. A water dispensing mechanism is associated with the basin and is coupled to a water supply line located within the housing. A filter is also coupled to the water supply line. Mounted to a portion of the housing is a door that is moveable between open and closed positions. The filter is mounted to and supported by the door for movement moved with the door between the open and closed positions.
Filter apparatus with ejection arrangement
A filter cartridge including catches for ejecting the filter cartridge from a filter housing as the filter cartridge and filter housing are removed from a filter base is provided. The catches are configured to engage corresponding catches of the filter base to limit axial motion of the filter cartridge as the filter cartridge and filter housing are threadedly removed from the filter base.
WATER CIRCULATION SYSTEM FOR A POOL AND A POOL
A water circulation system for a pool comprises a water outlet assembly mounted to an inner wall of a pool, and in fluid communication with an external pump through a water outlet pipe. The water circulation system also includes an air inlet assembly mounted to the pool a preset distance from the water outlet assembly, and an air outlet assembly attached to the water outlet assembly and in fluid communication with the water outlet assembly. An air inlet passage connects the air inlet assembly to the air outlet assembly, so external air can enter the air inlet assembly and be introduced to the water outlet assembly through the air outlet assembly. Air is introduced to the water outlet by the air outlet when the water outlet assembly is blocked, reducing negative pressure at the water outlet and reducing risk that a portion of a user's body is drawn against or into the water outlet.
Removable fluid removal pump filter
The present invention provides a removable fluid removal pump filter for mounting on a fluid intake housing of a fluid removal pump having a fluid intake housing coupled to a pump shaft coupled to a head assembly having a pump handle and a discharge port. The removable fluid removal pump filter includes: a first member and a second member, wherein the second member is coupled to the first member and extends toward the proximal end of the first member. Methods of using the removable fluid removal pump filter are also disclosed.
Filter element
A filter element is disclosed. The filter element may include filter media extending circumferentially around and longitudinally along a longitudinal axis of the filter element. The filter element may also include pilot structure attached to the filter media and configured to locate the filter element. The pilot structure may include an axial cross-section that includes at least one of a noncircular feature or an asymmetrical feature relative to the longitudinal axis.
WATER FILTER SYSTEM
A filter unit includes a body portion with first and second engagement surfaces that traverse at least a part of the body portion. The first and second engagement surfaces include a first segment that extends substantially parallel with a longitudinal extent of the body portion and a second segment that extends at an angle relative to the first segment. An engagement protrusion extends from the body portion and has a water inlet and a concave engagement wall with a water outlet. A periphery of the concave engagement wall includes a first portion with a first radius of curvature and a second portion with a second radius of curvature that is larger than the first radius of curvature. A first seal is disposed on a sidewall of the engagement protrusion proximate the water outlet. A first cross-section of the engagement protrusion, taken at the first seal and perpendicular to the longitudinal extent of the body portion, is egg-shaped with only one axis of symmetry. A second seal is disposed on the engagement protrusion and spaced apart from the first seal. A second cross-section of the engagement protrusion, taken at the second seal and perpendicular to the longitudinal extent of the body portion, is egg-shaped.
Filter turning mechanism
A filter turning mechanism is attached to an engine in proximity to a filter (such as an oil filter), and may be used to install or remove a filter by turning the filter. The filter turning mechanism contacts a filter, and rotates the filter when the filter turning mechanism is rotated with a tool. One implementation of the filter turning mechanism includes an inner drive gear and a filter drive mechanism. The inner drive gear normally spins freely within the filter drive mechanism, but when pushed into the filter drive mechanism with a suitable tool such as a ratchet extension, the inner drive gear engages the filter drive mechanism, thereby causing rotation of the inner drive gear to rotate the filter drive mechanism as well, which in turn rotates the filter.
LIQUID FILTER ARRANGEMENT AND METHODS
A filter cartridge includes a threaded sleeve having a seal holder recess and seal member. The filter cartridge is for removably threading onto a filter head that includes threads for connection to the filter cartridge by way of the threaded sleeve. The filter head includes a ramp that engages the seal member to form a seal. The force needed to make the seal is a torque of less than 10 N-m.
Filter system
The filter system having a filter and a filter holder, wherein the filter is connected to an upper and a lower filter cap, wherein on the circumference of the filter caps a cross-sectionally T-shaped fixing aid is respectively mounted, having a laterally projecting transverse web, which are vertically aligned with each other, wherein on an outer side of the housing of the filter holder two filter fixings are mounted with grooves in which the transverse webs can be suspended, is characterized in that four hydraulic ports project laterally from the filter and/or the filter caps, which are vertically aligned with each other, and that the filter holder has four connection connectors, which can be advanced by an upper and a lower closure mechanism against spring force until they engage in an end position in which the connection connectors are tightly connected to the hydraulic connections.
