The filter drum can be used in a vacuum and/or pressure filtration device for the filtration of a suspension having solid and liquid components.
Water filtration apparatus with top-loading filter cartridge housing
An apparatus for filtering water includes a tubular housing defining a housing interior for holding a filter cartridge that radially divides the housing interior into a feed zone and a filtrate zone. The housing interior extends vertically from a bottom end to an upper end defining an upper end opening that is sized to allow the filter cartridge to be inserted into and removed from the housing interior. A lid is removably attached in sealing relationship to the housing top end to prevent water flow out of the housing interior via the housing top end opening. A distributor, attached in sealing relationship to the housing bottom end, has an inflow passage for directing water flow into the feed zone of the housing interior, and an outflow passage for directing water flow out of the filtrate zone of the housing interior, and into a tank storing a granular filtration medium.
MODULAR FLUID PROCESSING APPARATUSES, MODULAR COMPONENTS AND RELATED METHODS
Modular fluid processing apparatuses, modular components and related methods are provided. A fluid processing apparatus for use in fluid processing systems can include a housing comprising first body half and a second body halves that are secured together. The first body half has one or more half bores that extend along a length of the first body half and the second body half has one or more half bores that extend along a length of the second body half with the one or more half bores in the first body half aligning with the one or more half bores in the second body half forming one or more full sleeve-receiving bores. The fluid processing apparatus can include one or more sleeves that are securable between the first and second body halves within the one or more sleeve-receiving bores to form piston pathways within the housing for receiving pistons.
MULTILAYER ROTOMOLDED GREASE TRAP
A grease trap or solids collector for separating waste from waste water has a tank having a multilayer outer wall made of an outer layer of un-foamed plastic, an intermediate layer of foamed plastic, and an inner layer of unfoamed plastic; an inlet invert in the tank for receiving incoming waste water; and an outlet invert for removing water from the tank. An extension collar made up of segments can be included.
Filter Drum for a Vacuum and/or Pressure Filtration Device
A filter drum including: a drive shaft via which the filter drum is rotatably supportable and rotatably drivable; a filter drum body which is formed in a manner separated from the drive shaft, to which the drive shaft extends centrally and which filter drum body includes a first drum end wall, a second drum end wall, and a drum jacket wall which extends along the drive shaft between the first drum end wall and the second drum end wall and connects the first drum end wall and the second drum end wall to each other; and a first clamping ring set and a second clamping ring set, corresponding to the first drum end wall and the second drum end wall, respectively, by which, in a respective manner, the first drum end wall and the second drum end wall are, via radial clamping, fixedly connected to the drive shaft such that a driving torque applied to the drive shaft is correspondingly transmittable from the drive shaft to the first drum end wall and/or the second drum end wall and, thereby, to the filter drum body via the first clamping ring set and/or the second clamping ring set, respectively. The filter drum can be used in a vacuum and/or pressure filtration device for the filtration of a suspension having solid and liquid components.
REINFORCED TOP COVER STRUCTURE FOR A CHEMICAL FILTER
A reinforced top cover structure for a chemical filter includes a cover member made of injection molded plastic material and covering a metal-made core board mounted with multiple positioning pillars. Each positioning pillar has an upper section extending upwardly from a top surface of the core board, a middle section connected to the upper section and extending through a corresponding one of multiple positioning holes in the core board, and a lower positioning part connected to the middle section and extending downwardly from the bottom surface of the core board. The core board has an annular peripheral surface formed with multiple notches. The cover member has an outer peripheral surface surrounding the annular peripheral surface of the core board and formed with multiple engaging grooves that correspond respectively to the notches in position.
