Filter controller
A filter controller which comprises a manifold and at least one filter assembly. The manifold comprises a plurality of portholes and channels into and through which a fluid, such as, e.g., a fuel, may flow. The filter assembly comprises an upper filter subassembly and a lower filter subassembly. The filter assembly can be fitted directly onto the manifold without the use of pipes and fittings and such that the filter assembly is in fluid communication with the portholes and channels necessary for effective filtering, polishing, and flow of the fluid through the system and through the assembly into which the system is integrated.
Valve-Sensor Assembly
A valve-sensor assembly for a filter assembly that filters water from a fluid. The valve-sensor assembly includes a sensor body and a drain valve body. The sensor body includes a filter element engagement portion having a hollow interior that extends longitudinally through a length of the sensor body and a protrusion that extends circumferentially along an exterior surface of the filter element engagement portion. The sensor body further includes one or more water-in-fluid sensors provided at the exterior surface of the filter element engagement portion. The drain valve body includes a main body having a drain port, and a valve extending from the main body and extending at least partially within the hollow interior. The valve has an interior passage in fluid communication with the drain port.
WATER-IN-FUEL SENSOR WITH CAVITY FOR DETECTION AT GRADE
A system comprising a drain for a fuel-water separator (FWS) assembly and a sensor is disclosed. The sensor may include a sensing element that is attached to the drain, wherein, when the drain engages the FWS assembly, a cavity is formed by an endcap at least partially within the FWS assembly and by at least one of the drain or the sensor, wherein the sensing element is exposed within the cavity, wherein a first side of the cavity is at least partially open, and wherein a second side of the cavity is formed by at least one of the drain or the sensor, wherein the cavity is configured to receive fluid through the first side and collect the fluid in the cavity to trigger the sensing element. Numerous other aspects and systems are disclosed.
Automated water drain system
The apparatus and related method employ fluid pressure to first separate the water accumulation chamber from the filtration chamber of a filter assembly by closing fluid flow pathways that allow water to flow into the accumulation chamber. With the chambers separated, fluid pressure is applied to the accumulation chamber to open a drain valve and push water out of the accumulation chamber. The period for which pressure is applied to the accumulation chamber can be regulated by sensors detecting a low water level, or can be timed, or both. When the water removal is completed, the fluid pressure is removed and fluid communication between the filtration chamber and the water accumulation chamber is restored.
Filter device and method of manufacturing the filter device
The filter device includes a case, an element, and a water separator. The case accommodates the element and the water separator. The element removes solid particulates from the fuel. The element can be replaced by opening the case. The water separator removes water content from the fuel. The water separator is held in the case. The water separator is movable relative to the case. The water separator is movable within a movable range. The element and the water separator are provided with a passage connecting member for connecting a fuel passages.
FUEL PRE-FILTER MODULE, FILTER ELEMENT AND FILTER HEAD WITH A PRIMING PUMP
Disclosed is an exchangeable filter element having an integrate check valve and alignment features. Also disclose is a fuel pre-filter module for pre-filtering fuel for internal combustion engines which is configured to receive the filter element. The fuel pre-filter module, for example finding beneficial use with internal combustion engines for light trucks, buses, construction, and agricultural machines.
DIESEL DEHYDRATOR
A fuel dehydrator, including a control panel, a fuel pump electrically connected to the control panel, the fuel pump including a first inlet fluidly connected to a fuel supply, and a first outlet, a fuel filter including a second inlet fluidly connected to the first outlet and a second outlet, a water separator, including a third inlet fluidly connected to the second outlet, a third outlet fluidly connected to a fuel return, and an automatic water drain valve fluidly connected to a water drain and electrically connected to the control panel.
FILTER INSERT FOR INSERTION INTO A FILTER HOUSING
The invention relates to a filter insert for insertion into a filter housing of a fluid filter, comprising a filter material, which is designed to be flowed through by a fluid to be filtered during operation of the fluid filter from a raw side to a pure side of the fluid filter, and to a floatable radio module, which is designed to float on a water quantity located in a water collection area of the fluid filter during operation of the fluid filter.
FUEL-WATER SEPARATOR SELF-DRAINING VALVE WITH RELEASE MEMBER
A drain for a fuel-water separator (FWS) bowl is disclosed. The drain may include a valve element configured to float in a first fluid and not in a second fluid, wherein the valve element is in a valve element chamber of the drain, wherein the valve element chamber includes an opening configured to drain the first fluid from the valve element chamber, and wherein the valve element seals the opening when the drain is in an open position and when the first fluid has been drained from the valve element chamber; and a member configured to unseal the valve element from the opening when the drain is in a closed position.
Bowl for Filter Assemblies
A filter assembly comprises a housing defining an internal volume. A housing second end of the housing defines at least one female thread. A bowl is positioned at the housing second end The bowl comprises at least one bowl male thread structured to engage the at least one female thread of the housing so as to be coupled thereto.
